Great story! Reminds me of the movies from the 80s and 90s. A problem is found. People are working together to solve it. No unnecessary interpersonal drama. Everybody puts the solution over their personal pride. And what i like most. The problem is not some personified evil but just something unknown. I think thats way more terrifying. Like the borg are more terrifying without the queen.
