Our Stand (CHP Officer Andre M. Moye, Jr. Freeway Dedication)

On August 12, 2019, Officer Andre Moye tragically lost his life in the line of duty during a traffic stop.
On September 3, 2024, a special memorial freeway dedication was held in his honor.
A portion of State Route 215, from Eucalyptus Avenue to the State Route 60 junction in Riverside, will now be known as the CHP Officer Andre M. Moye Jr. Memorial Freeway. This dedication serves as a lasting reminder to the Riverside community and all who travel through it of the brave and dedicated man Officer Moye was.
