Hey friends! This week we explore Wilson’s Prom, one place everyone said we have to visit. But will we see any wombats?

Great video, it’s interesting, if you’re from Melbourne like I am, nature lovers know and appreciate this place but many people never go here, the beaches are some of the best in the state. I think it’s because it’s in a national park, takes a long drive just from entering the park and no shopping strips , or town close by. But I think that’s what keeps it special to!

Comments like these mean the world to us, thank you Max. That’s it, even if it’s only a walk down to the local park, there’s nothing like the power of nature. Have a great Christmas 🧡

Another amazing vlog, hello Mr Wombat! The oceans surrounding Wilson’s Prom can be so rugged, we Victorians have so many nature type places to visit, amazing wildlife you captured on video, cheers from Downunder ❤️🦘🦘🦘🇦🇺

Very enjoyable to watch. Perhaps you could get some special sliding down rocks pants with padding to protect the backs of your legs and bottom😀. It’s becoming a feature like Nigel dives.

Haha I’m so worried I’m going to rip my pants!! Good to know I’m developing a signature move too. Merry Christmas to you and Stephen!

We had the same view from Mount Oberon when we did it , the mist lifted and WOW !!

In some ways I think we were luckier to see it like that. It was so spectacular when the mist lifted

I’m from Melbourne, Is wombats more common in Victoria? As you’ve never seen a wombat.
@nigelandsueadventures4 ай бұрын
Yes I think they are. I guess I saw them as a kid (I grew up near Bacchus Marsh) but I’ve lived in Queensland over 25 years and I don’t think they come up here

Just a spectacular view when that cloud cleared. Nice to see the wombats and the echidna as well. 😊🤗

Did you explore Venus Bay whilst in the area. Wilson's Prom is a lovely place to explore. Always peaceful but yes, the weather is always unpredictable on the coast!

Great video Nigel and Sue what is the fuel consumption per 100 km you get out of your Mercedes Benz Sprinter Camper Van and How many layers of clothes do you have to wear since me and Elena are planning on visiting Tasmania with our Mercedes Benz Sprinter Camper Van in roughly 2029/2030 in the March/April Season and have you seen any whales on the great ocean road and Bremer bay and what types of whales were they. I have seen Humpbacks, Southern Rights, Orcas, Sperms and Pilot whales in Western Australia and Bremer Bay and I have also seen Belugas and Minkes in Norway
@nigelandsueadventures Жыл бұрын
G'day! We get just under 13 litres per 100km. Our van is a 4x4 and weighs just under 4.5 tonne. Our Tassie Content will start in a couple of weeks, so you'll get to see how many layers we need then. We are not sure yet! Sadly, we have not seen a single whale in the 3 years we have been driving around Australia. I think Nigel may have seen them when he was flying over the Bight, and I saw them off the coast of Brisbane years ago. But not on this trip. Thanks for being along for the ride.

Those “popular “ places are the very ones I avoid!
@nigelandsueadventures Жыл бұрын
Definitely wouldn’t go there at this time of year! But it was nice to go when it was quieter. The quiet off the beaten track places are our favourites too.
