Jordan Morris is a Major League Soccer player for the Seattle Sounders FC & U.S. Men's National team who has also been living with type 1 diabetes since age 9. Jordan, now 23, won 2016 MLS Rookie of the Year, helped the Sounders win their first MLS Cup, and most recently launched the Jordan Morris Foundation to inspire kids with type 1 diabetes.
Jordan is the first to admit his successes rely on the support of his family. Not only have his mom, dad, and siblings been there every step of the way during Jordan's soccer career, they also participate in TrialNet for him.
Jordan says, “To all those considering contributing to research, I want to thank you. This is going to be a group effort to find a cure. And I want to thank my family. I wouldn’t be where I am in sports or life without my family. To hear they’re helping with research and supporting me means everything to me.”
We want to thank Talia, Christopher, Julian, Jordan, Leslie, & Mike for their support. To learn more about TrialNet, visit www.trialnet.org
