Back growing up as a kid in the 60’s, there was more time intentionally devoted to family. Life was slow with fewer distractions. The art of story telling was highly valued. At each family gathering, stories were told in vivid details. My dad was a master at weaving the yarn. Great days! Sammy, you are a master at this as well. Love how you set the stage, background and describe each person. You paint the picture. Feels like I’m actually there watching. Great job Sammy! Me too! We all have a suitcase full of 💩. But Christ died for us when were sinners. I’m thankful for that grace. Because I’ve experienced it on a personal level, I’m not as judgmental and more forgiving. I’ve found that most of us want grace and people to see us through our motives and circumstances. We then hypocritically, fail to remember that grace we received and proceed to deny others that grace and judge them on behavior. I’m not saying “Anything Goes”, but what I am saying is that we never fall too far that God’s arms are not long enough to reach us. Remember the thief on the cross next to Christ? He humbly acknowledged that he belonged in the cross but Christ did not. He recognized who Christ was and acknowledged Him for being The Messiah. He requested that Christ remember him in His Kingdom. Then, what I failed to grasp for so many years....Christ responded...”TODAY, you will be with me in paradise”. Christ came for sinners like us. All we have to do is accept the victory He’s already won. Guess that is why His grace is “Amazing”! Giving thanks for you Sammy, and lifting you and your family up in prayer!

My gramps told me he could leave his wallet on the drivers seat and the keys in the ignition the whole night and it would still be right there , unlocked with a wallet full of cash on the seat. This is my only connection to Cosa Nostra. Hearing about Salvatore"Toddo" Aurello always makes me smile because I think he represented everything that made the mafia special , honorable and better than any other criminal organisation to date. Loose the cellos and all the sound effects. The fireside chats with Sammy are perfect. There is enough intensity and expansiveness in Sammy's personality to keep the flow. On his own Sammy is riveting.

Cool, due to the time zones here in Europe this comes out on YT just at the end of day, I remember back in the days after the fall of communism there were (among others) a couple of things we knew about America, Kent smokes, McDonald's, Dallas series, heavy metal and punk, Hell's Angels and Sammy The Bull...cool hearing these stories from the man himself.

Good one Piggy. Hope you are loving the fall of the wall mate, musta been pure murder living under what we were lead to believe a Commie Regime offers....which is after all, Fuck All to the people and 90% to the leaders, the Biggest crooks.
