As soon as living by the code meant prison , Gravano had enough. It’s easy to follow a code when times are good. It’s when shit hits the fan that you find out if you were meant for that life.

I don't understand why people hold gangsters to higher standards than politicians, cops, military personnel, or those fucks who let people storm the white house. When in Iraq my Lt talked real tough and when shit hit the fan he ordered me to keep driving and leave everyone in the kill zone, on a convoy. I couldn't do that. Now Sammy heard John Gotti on tape talking about taking him out. No one knows what they would do till their in that situation. Anyone successful in illegal activity is working with the police, and politicians that's a fact. Yet there not rats but have their rivals in the same drug game arrested? If you don't know that's what comes with paying off police.

The one man who cost everything was Anthony Mirra, my mother's ex-boyfriend. He let Donnie Brasco into the mob. Gotti had to deal with the press in his face, and that was because yuppies and Wall Street types had invaded the city and didn't suffer crime the way 1970s NYC did. Computers and the early internet then kicked in plus the organization got so big they let in other rats and were generally understaffed. Kind of similar to many businesses that get too big.

Cars got expemsive because of safety stuff, environmental stuff, fuel efficiency, extra features to compete in more competitive markets etc etc. Yeah there is and was corruption - and that is because guys like Sammy shaking unions and businesses down. Everything would be better if every one was honest. But the issue with unions isn't that they are a bad idea - the issue is people get away with maniupulating them - usually criminally.

It's funny he's but hurt about people getting pension's! Which the auto industry stopped providing a decade ago. Smh
@bigsweetc62 жыл бұрын
@@only5186 pensions are a good thing. Sammy was unfortunately dead wrong on his opinion on this issue. The true corruption is the greedy Auto Executives perpetually moving operations to third world countries in search of lax labor laws and a cheap desperate work force.

Thank you for sharing with us Mr. Gravano. Blessings and regards to you and all those you love, from Belfast.

That makes sense, Sammy. Now, the auto makers have a "Tiered" system. The legacy pensioners are dying off and the newer workers don't get the same life-long benefits. So, the "spread" on the price of the cars today is more on the profit side.

20:52 They never used your tapes in the case because you openly testified in the court against Gotti and 30 others in the Cosa Nostra. They wouldn't need to use your tapes since they had your mouth !

Exactly. And when Gravano was dealing drugs with his wife and kids in Arizona, he couldn’t stop talking about money and drugs on his phone and in his business ( which were wiretapped. ) but nothing incriminating came out of his mouth before that 😂😂😂😂

Bullshit, if they have tape, they will use 100% they have to use, thats why they spend millions $ for bug everything
