Bought this pack about a month ago. Organization is great. Love the quick access pocket options double entry option on the main compartment. This is a great pack. Have been logging lot of miles and it’s very comfortable

The K4 5000 is first rate quality. The comfort of the harness and belt wear was most pleasant. I did a 35 pound hike test. The pack felt great on a 6 mile hike. I did a 50 pound test. For me, I had excruciating pain at the hips. The pain was at the hip joint of my legs where it joined the hip. It was so bad I had to stop walking after 2 miles of the 6 mile hike. It was a muscle pain. It was as if I couldn’t get my legs to move because they felt strained. Making adjustments did not help. I considered myself in good shape. Obviously not. I do not fault the pack. It’s well built. Thanks for the review.

Do you think it has anything to do with the pack or is it the weight on your hip?

Thanks for the comment, Joe. You're absolutely right here and I'll add that so do a few other brands included in this group. We elected not to use any accessories such as these type cradles from any brand, to more closely align with a backpack-type hunt out West. It would be interesting to see how these type cradles help though! Maybe they're the way to go when you get that late night text from a good buddy who needs a helping hand. - Forest

This was a great series. I have the Kuiu that you all tested. I have the exact same problems as Brady and the same body type. I also love some organization. I have found if i am guiding or taking my kids, being organized and precise on where my gear is, is key. I greatly appreciate this film. Question, i strap my Kuiu pack in behind my saddle to save my back (with a double dog collar system). Do you see any issues doing this with the Exo?

Thanks for the awesome comment, Eldon! It's great to see continuity such as this, and even constructive disagreement at times, from our audience. We have a fair idea of what you are describing in your question, and don't think that you'll have any issues with an Exo.

The whole idea of packing out the meat from a large animal is flawed from the start. God gave us other animals to bear this burden, take your pick of the pack out beasts that the Lord so generously provided.

I choose you then😂 but seriously, the lord didnt give me enough $$ to own a pack mule, just a backpack this time around, so im using what i got!

In comparison, for my porting services, I would charge many times over the expenses of a pack mule.
