What I appreciate about you guys is the honesty. A lot of companies only post 100% positive reviews with no reality of where the product lacks or has deficiency. I know you guys are reliable and trustworthy sources of information because of this, no bias, no bs. Love it.

I have the bigger version of this and gave used it on expedition type hunts of 10 days and also as a day pack when guiding clients for bull tahr. I love the Kuiu pack suits me fine, particularly like the light weight.

Perfect timing algorithm, as I was considering one of the smaller LT packs from Kuiu. I'm on that smaller side at 5-8/9 and 160 with somewhat broader shoulders. What kind of packs do y'all recommend in the 50L range that can pack out meat or gear?

Thanks for the question! We honestly found both the Stone Glacier and Exo Mtn Gear packs to be comparable when it comes to "comfort under load". We did a full video comparison of the "Top 5" packs for 2023 here on KZbin, if you'd like to take a look. Whether you go with Stone Glacier or EXO, we are confident you'll be pleased with your decision. The main difference there is one's preference with bag layout and access between the two brands. If you decide to go with Stone Glacier, let us know! We'd be happy to support you there.

When you guys say it was swaying... if you can remember, are you sure you had all the straps tight to the frame and suspension? Just curious as I have a 2300 for my Whitetail setup and am thinking about getting the 6000 as I already have the frame and all. 100lbs is a sh!tload of weight. A welcomed agony for sure. Packing in for me is not more than 40lbs for sure

Yes we did have all available straps tightened to the frame. the shifting seemed to come from both the shoulder straps to the frame, and the frame to the pack. We've heard a few reports of people not having an issue with the shifting though, so I'm not entirely sure what the deal is there. If it's not a problem for you, I'd say keep running it! -Brady

I put 30lbs in my 2300 last night and walked around for a few hours... I will up it to 50 and see how it goes.... what I can see in other videos seems like exactly what you're speaking about. Thx for you time!

Kuiu has serious serious durability issues . Tons of horror stories and terrible customer service. I have experience.
