Kay, mea culpa time...I may or may not, BUT MOST CERTAINLY DID...get the Balor bit wrong. I'm pretty sure. The omission of Pit Fiends and Balors and Mariliths in Monster Core made me presume - for some dumb reason - that there were stand-ins for them...and since the Vrolikai (who apparently showed their ugly barghast mugs in Bestiary 2) were the 20th level entry for Demons...and the Barghests are now good li'l boys...and the sin-absorption language was so epic and close to the Balor's... Goblin Foot In Goblin Mouth. Kay, moving on.

The Battlezoo/Roll for Combat stuff is amazing. Some of the best 3rd party content. You would love to review the Dragon Ancestry, the DUNGEON Ancestry (pdf available for free), plus they have two different books filled with wild Ancestry choices coming down the pipeline. You would definitely like the Monster Parts system in Battlezoo Bestiary as well.

Thanks! I think these kinds of creature deep-dives within the entry are crucial for this goblin to keep not needing the alignment crutch. Plus it makes the relationship between Gno...er...KHOLOS and their demon mommy that much more interesting to me. Like, bad people doing tabooey things while worshipping bad people is the laziest kind of imagineering, for my money. It makes me think every gno...er...KHOLO twirls their little hyena mustache while tying gnomes to desert railroad tracks for bad guy XP. 'tis dumb, and I'm happy we're past that.

I have been start listening to you guys youtube-podcast a while ago and it has been a pleasant ride! I love the different perspective. I also would LOVE more 3rd party reviews. While Paizo has a huge volume of cool stuff, I also often like to consume content of different writing style and aesthetics, and it has always been hard to find the right 3rd party content for pf2e and I would love to see more highlights and hear you guys' reviews.

Another vote for interest in the Battlezoo material, and the various Ancestry books Roll For Combat did. That said, if you were to look at Pathfinder Infinite stuff, I'd be really interested in what you think of Team+'s books. They mostly have additions to existing classes, have been good enough to provide free updates to books they put out pre-remaster to update them to remaster friendly while leaving the Legacy copies intact. t's been a blast reading through them.

Do you think there is value to this book vs only using AoN? Is it organized so well that even if all of the content is online it is worth having it infront of you? (as of writing AoN has not yet updated anyway, but they are only just recovering from Player Core and GM Core)

Yes. Paizo stays in business when they sell things and that keeps AoN alive. Also, there are various tables and tools throughout the book that, if you don’t know their names, you’ll never find. Also-also…I tend to use three to five entries at a time for my combats and you can’t flip between them with AoN in an elegant manner. I use both often.
