These are all great drills! I have done 4 of the 5 drills shown a few times a week for the last 2.5 years. They work, I've gone from a "C" to an "A" at my club . Thanks for the upload.

Hello Geoff, it’s been 3 years since this comment but could you explain the “C” and “A”? How does that work at your club.
@geoffstaples90633 жыл бұрын
@@denhalmtan9021 NP. A "C" player's skill level is in the middle of the player ranking in the club / league. An "A" player is in the top category of the whole club.

@@geoffstaples9063 I see. So there will be occasional friendly competitions between these levels of players to determine whether they will rank up or not, is that right?

Thanks for sharing these drills, it reminded me of some I used as junior player to sharpen up my game and fitness, they are highly effective and use them to this day when coaching.

If only we were as good as Jonathon Power....he was one of my favourite players to watch. Played him once in Hong Kong and he beat me 3-0 :( thanks for the feedback

This is cringy from the start; drives are touching the wall before hitting the back glass making it a huge setup, his boast isn't making any damage at that speed and height. And, no, they can't keep up at least 5 hits each with out making mistakes. This is so sad. It's like listening someone stuttering for 13:13.

Christ, look, it's another king of the keyboard warriors. You're acknowledging the obvious while ignoring what is being conveyed: Vote Trump Much?

Thank you for the feedback, we also did these ......kzbin.info/www/bejne/mpqyoH9nqJysatk maybe the standard is better for you? there is a series of 3 for you to check out, no mistakes and rallies longer than 5 hits :)

if you were a decent squash player, it would immediately be obvious to you that the guy who talks is miles better than the other guy, who is a club player. Seeing most of the viewers here come from all over the spectrum in terms of levels, it's nice to show that these drills are doable by almost anyone. The one who is speaking is Paul Hargrave. You can get an idea of his level on squashlevels.com There's a good chance it is above yours. Be humble

Pdhsports - thanks for the vid. I tip my hat to you for the restraint and diplomacy of your reply to this bloke. Only came across this vid as was searching for some new routines and agree with most of your selection here as they are exactly the same as the repertoire we already use, with the exception of the length game. Drive - boasts are great to warm up, Drop-Drive-Drive-Boast great to practice technique and work on quality short game, Boast/drop - drive/crosscourt great for creating pressure situations. All can be used by anyone from club players through to pros so the ability of the young bloke you are hitting with does not impact on quality of the drills. For mine he hits the ball cleanly, just needs to work on his footwork and balance to stop dragging the ball back into the mid court. Would love some ideas on practicing short volleys and volley kills with 2 on the court if you have any?
