Is it far from the airport. Did you have to get a taxi?
@OURIRISHFAMILY2 жыл бұрын
We flew into Reus airport. Right outside there are taxis and public buses. Our plan was to hop on the bus but we had just missed one and hopped into a taxi instead. There is a person directing you to each taxi and giving you the price before you get in. €30 was the cost for the 3 of us with one bag. It took about 5-10 minutes, very easy journey. On our journey home we asked reception in Sanguli to get us a taxi and it cost €26 but the taxi did take 30 minutes to arrive at Sanguli was a busy morning for taxis.

Hey Orla, where are you looking to go? I'd love to do a French or Italian site. I was so surprised at the site honestly wasn't expecting it to be as nice and clean as it was.

Bella Italia in Lake Garda is a fantastic campsite. Went with my 7 year old daughter and it was amazing. Great swimming pools, It’s right on the lake so you can walk along the lake to the nearby town, the food is amazing( lots of pasta and pizza), the entertainment is great. Couldn’t recommend it enough! Sanguli looks amazing! I’ll be going there next xx

Back in 2019 we booked 4 days at Bella Italia and 5 days at Union Lido for May 2020. As covid happened we never got to go and I think about it constantly. I will definitely have a serious look at it again, I've only heard good things. Sanguli was amazing, highly recommend also and so looking forward to our holiday next year. Thanks Aileen.

Was it? I saw the reviews are really bad…
@aileenbn8409 Жыл бұрын
@@violetsilentmoon we were there in 2013 with our 7 year old. Was fantastic at that time. Lot can happen in 10 years with a place though so I can't speak for now. However, at that time, the pools were amazing. We always got loungers. The campsite was spotless. Loads to do there. Could walk to nearby town. Food was lovely. No idea what reviews are negative about but I will say certain accommodation in all these campsites with be better depending on who you book with. But the campsite was great. And everyone at that time also loved it. But again, 10 years is a long time! If all reviews are negative, something is wrong. At that time, they had a 4.5/5 rating on hardly no negative reviews. Something obviously has happened there!

@@aileenbn8409 oh wow! The reviews I see now are the opposite of that,but true a lot can happen in that time frame😄

Great little vlog .. delighted you took some time for yourself , this was perfect little clips and chat 😀 you look glowing in this vid - the hol did u good x I just booked our holiday for next year at Sanguli but through sanguli site itself ( way cheaper than going through eurocamp) n got our flights too ... can't wait! We booked for 2020 and covid destroyed that , booked for 2021 again couldn't go .. so hopefully 2023 be our year!!!
@OURIRISHFAMILY2 жыл бұрын
Yes we've booked Sanguli again Staying in their accommodation. The flights for 2023 were just released last week so it was a perfect time to book. When are you going?
@tracyhalpin7242 жыл бұрын
@@OURIRISHFAMILY July 6th..... the flights went up in just a few days so was definitely the right time to book!! They wouldn't normally release flights that early but because of issues in airport they did to allow people to transfer their flights to next year. Delighted you have too... how many days did u settle on in the end ? 😊
@tracyhalpin7242 жыл бұрын
We in some miracle got ryanair to agree to transfer on our flights from 2021 for free .... I had been complaining since Sept 2021 !!

Hi Karen just watched your video the camp site looks amazing it's something any child would love when you said that you were going to a camp site I was thinking tents I didn't think there would me mobiles I could never stay in a tent I won't be going anywhere this year something to think about for next year great to see you back 👍🏖🌞
@OURIRISHFAMILY2 жыл бұрын
Yeah I used to think tents as well and when I imagined the campsite it doesn't look anything like what we experienced in Sanguli. I now understand why these type of holidays are so popular. Eurocamp is who our accommodation was with but you can book directly with the site owners as well. Thanks so much for watching and commenting Netta.

Looks like you had an amazing time Karen. We’re going back to Salou in 5 weeks time , this will be our 5th time going . You’ll have to try portaventura the next time you’re there . It’s brilliant 🤩
@OURIRISHFAMILY2 жыл бұрын
Hi Laura, we did got to Portaventura, I'm gonna do a seperate video with the clips took on the day. Where in Salou do you stay? I've been to Salou twice been, once with my family as a teenager and also with Robert (our first holiday). It's changed from what I remember but we didn't spend much time down in the center this time around. Have a great time.

Hi where did u buy your travel insurance..I'm looking at booking through sunway for August but I'm nervous as it's working out at €2500 for accommodation and if someone in the group gets sick and we can't go that's a lot of money to loose !
@tanya24482 жыл бұрын
It looks great however when i am on holidays I like an early morning swim to feel refreshed for the day so pools opening at 11 am would definitely rule this place out. However is this the norm over there, as I am in Australia resort park pools typically open at 7 am even in the off season.
@OURIRISHFAMILY2 жыл бұрын
I can definitely understand that. To be honest I was surprised by the late opening. I've had a look at other campsites in central europe and some do open at 9am but I don't think I've seen one earlier than that.

Hi! Do you think it is ok for an 11 year old girl that is very independent and very responsible to walk around on her own? I’m am going there at the end of September until the staff October for 2 weeks
@OURIRISHFAMILY2 жыл бұрын
Hello, The park did seem quite safe. There are cars allowed so she would need to be mindful of that. I did see some kids that age walking on their own during the daytime. You can hire bikes onsite or just outside the beachside reception. This could be a good alternative for her.
