Put corn starch around stalk of plant on ground. Worm will eat at night then drink and pop open. Put a little humped up line around stalk.

If you ever see this. We planted tomatoes and peppers in a pot. Tomatoes came Out spicy and peppers had good flavor but no heat. Guessing they Cross pollinated. It was pretty cool to have spicy tomatoes for fresh salsa.

I can’t understand people in t shirt and jeans putting out a car fire. It’s full bunker gear for me and scba. There is a lot of magnesium in the cabs and wheels on vehicles and when water hits it when it’s hot it blows up and can seriously hurt someone. I am on a rural volunteer dept ppe is a must. But hey thanks for sharing your adventures.

Seven is good to keep the bugs away. But, you need some bugs to pollinate the flowers. Up north here, I only had 1 tomato worm. I just picked it off.

What caused the truck fire? I use earth diatomaceous to keep all bugs off my garden. I get mine at Tractor Supply. I’m in Norman OK and I think the heat Texas and Oklahoma is having right now is taking it’s tole on the gardens

I see those yellow salt blocks. Cow wear out their teeth chewing on salt blocks. And they do not have a high percentage of minerals. They are Trace mineral blocks only have traces of minerals. Its better to buy loose minerals mix salt and cottonseed meal in a three way mix. and you can add granulated shulphur and diatomaceous earth to the mix. the shulphur keeps the ticks and flies off. The Diatomaceous earth will worm the cattle and keep fly eggs from hatching in the manure.
