Hulls east park parkrun has a new temporary course and has a lot less turns and sticks mainly to the road through the park and loops around 3 times is wide and easy for overtaking and with less tight turns to slow you down so I'd say it's even faster than it used to be.

Yes hoping to get there before they change it back. We're doing the Boxing Day 10k in the park.

you might want to try eaton park in norwich , my local one , have done 380 there over nine years , i think its a fast course , a bit of a stampede at the beginning , simple tarmac 3 lap course

Ah yes we did this back in 2011 or 2012 after doing the Worstead 5 the day before. Very pleasant park.

Done lots of them..but sometimes in the wind and which can affect the course considerably - selby, market rasen etc. I never find Long Eaton to be super fast and prefer Alvaston for an unconjested quick run just across the M1…but actually just head down to Walsall 😊 I guess Bromley and Battersea will be fighting it out for the quickest in the 2025 rankings. Oh the other one is the really lovely Abbey Park in Leicester. I found it as quick as Widnes and Alexandra! I think the rankings were done literally the week after it started as no way is it 360th!!

Hi Brooms come and try Bramhall Park Park Run in Stockport (not a fast one) but it’s great 😊

Ah yes we've done that in the past. So being very niche, what parkrun accolade does Bramhall hold along with just two other parkruns in the UK?

Battersea park run is super quick for fast runners... 160 people were sub 20 mins last week... Albeit slower runners will have a slightly worse time as the start is quite a long funnel and sub 20 are prioritised to the front

I've not done it myself but I imagine the Weymouth winter course would be insanely fast (depending on the wind) !

Yes we've done it twice - both in insane conditions. We had hoped our November visit would be the winter course but it was a tad too early.

I like long Eaton but always get trapped at the start!

Yeah the first time we did it someone jumped in at 200m to get to the front of the 'it's not a race it's a community event'.

Kings Lynn in Norfolk is a good, fast course near me

You should try Victoria Park, Belfast .It's the course that currently holds both the male and female parkrun world records . 3 laps round the lake on wide flat paths. The course is more like a running track

Good shout. We have a friend who has frequently flown over on the day for NI parkruns. Never been there and seems a very interesting city.
