Very cool. I made the first record for CR of a small tarantula species, which was known as Ami bladesi from Panama only, but was later synonymized with Neischnocolus panamanus (current valid name). CR has some surprises yet to be discovered...
@OchoVerde2 ай бұрын
Heck yeah!! I think parts of CR are understudied for sure.

Wow. That's so cool. This is how science sometimes makes progress😅👍🙂. Congrats, what a find. So bad it was a dead one...

It was very cool! We were so lucky in many ways. They never would have seen the snake except they saw a Crested Cara Cara eating it and they investigated! Then, miraculously, the vultures never found it after 5+ hours of being on that road.

how awesome yall found a rare specimen!! Sad that is was dead but still its amazing!!
@OchoVerde2 ай бұрын
Since Dec 2023, I have 2 close by friends send me photos/videos of this species, but they were both very much alive!! Not suitable for a museum specimen, so we know the population is probably pretty. Now to find a love one!!

@@OchoVerde I absolutely believe you will find a live one! I am excited for it to happen!

Interesting, ur lucky nothing had eaten it, I once found a dead coachwhip, moved it off the road, went back that afternoon and it had been stripped down to nothing but bones
