It blows me away how Toyota engineers can produce such a great vehicle but fails to tune the rattle off idle out. You maybe also able to install a factory type paddle shift and use those for function selections rather than manual fear preferences. Great video.

What brand of 5w30 do you recommend? I’ve been trying to find a 5w30 c2 oil for an n80 but there doesn’t seem to be many around or they’re multigrade c2/c3

@@ajf9034 we use the oil in a 5w 40 and it’s a c3. Why do u want a c2?

@@JustAutosMechanical just going off the manual they specify a 0w30 or 5w30 C2 oil. After checking out the difference between c2 and c3 it should be fine to use a c3 oil, I might just lose the smallest amount of economy but gain better protection from the higher shear temperature?

How often are these cars getting hot that you needed to put that function in 😳 When you guys tuned my 70 the EGTs got colder

They get heat soaked in factory form, hence why we have the heat exchanger upgrade. The closed loop protection was more of a feature we added in as bonus to take away confusion and give customers more confidence operating the vehicle
