First of all, thank you for the great content that you are providing! 🙏 I am a SAHM mom of a two year old, and I am very grateful for being able to stay home and enjoy all these precious moments with my baby, also knowing how important this time is for her development.❤ But, I am also an entrepreneur at heart! Had a local business that was doing great, and we sold it for great value just before giving birth. 🎉 Now my question would be: is private label still a good business model to start on Amazon? Would you go for it? I don't need urgent money, that is why I would like to invest in something long-term, and a product line that I really enjoy selling, but I kept watching yt videos on the subject, and most of them are discouraging this business model now. Thank you, and have a beautiful day! Hopefully, in Vancouver, it is nicer than in Edmonton ☀️ here is raining, and we have 6⁰C outside 🥶

Much like a successful employee, you need to build yourself up through various entry level jobs to gain a diverse skill set. It's not just about years of experience, but having a broad range of abilities that prepare you for higher-level roles with greater responsibilities and better pay potential. It's so true about having two places to go to alternately..that's what happened to me growing up in Miami? After my first 27 yrs, alot of things just started to annoy me & and my EX husband when we we left to move to Las Vegas. Now I've overcome my welcome and I just want now to return back home!

I'll tell you a story, I started wholesale as a re-seller in Nov of 2022, all was going well and got up too 9 SKU's with variations, $1500 in profit monthly, all going back into it; amazing. Until Q2 - 2023.. all listings suppressed, what happened? I don't know, I know I was not the only re-seller in those listing. Since then, I went towards the Private label model. Its not easy but the rewards is what matters. Also, I would much rather fail then have regret 😅 that I cant live with..

I am doing the wholesale model and until now I have faced two challenges: - It is very hard to be accepted as a reseller by a brand as today they forbid resellers only selling on amazon and they ask you to be a brick and mortar business. I have been getting this answer a huge amount of time. - Winning the buybox is a real struggle because the owner of the brand has it most of the time and I have to drop the price each time to win it for a certain amount of time before they match my price, and it continues like that. The buybox is not fifty fifty or sixty forty. The brand owner just get it a loooott when you have the same price. Do you have any ideas to overcome these challenges please? Thank you!!

Great questions! Are you saying Amazon is forbidding resellers? They will ask you for a manufacturer’s invoice which you would obtain from the company. As for the buy box, the goal is to not be selling alongside the brand… those wouldn’t be the products to look for. You want to be selling a brand that they themselves aren’t selling on Amazon. So only resellers are selling it and that’s how the buy box rotates but of course it rotates based on certain metrics like if you’re and FBA seller and what is your price, what is your stock etc.

@@TatianaJames Thank you Tatiana. For the first point I meant the brands themselves when I contact them. A lot of them dont allow me to purchase their product and resell it because I only sell via amazon. And also a lot of products are being sold by the brand and other resellers too, should I avoid these products? Should I aim more for products where the brand is not among the sellers?

@@TatianaJames the brand owner doesn't us to sell on AMZ also, if we can sell a brand with products which are not selling on AMZ, they must be a demand for these products.
