I think we did 20 years ago but not for years now. We eat herbs, salad, ice and we have not had an issue in many years. We may have cast iron stomachs but we see hundreds of tourists eating everything too 😁😁😁Take gastro tablets just in case🥰

Love your videos - I stayed up to stupid oclock last night watching your Vietnam videos as we are going in March. They have been so informative. I have a question re the food - when you eat in the very basic places, like in Hanoi near the station and the meat came out of somewhere not refrigerated and then cooked over coals, do you ever worry about getting sick. I would never in Asia eat off the streets but what you have shown looks amazing. I just worry about the equivalent of Bali Belly or Thai tummy.

We haven't been sick in Vietnam for over 10 years and we eat so much local food. When you are there you can smell and see what is good. All the meat and seafood is very fresh like that day. They know what they are doing. All of the best meals we have had, the ones you remember for years to come, have been street food or small local restaurants. Here is a list of places that are amazing in Hanoi. They have extremely fresh food. Fresher than Australia.
