Our Visit To The Cliffs Of Moher, The Windiest Place On Earth!!! (6.18.11)

WARNING! TURN DOWN YOUR SPEAKERS WHEN THE WIND STARTS TO PICK UP AT THE CLIFFS!
We visited the Cliffs of Moher in southern Ireland and it was an amazing sight seeing trip to the coast for the day! I couldnt believe how narrow and rough the roads there are! our second car got two flat tires! we made it there unscathed and nearly got blown off the cliffs by the crazy strong winds gusts that were blowing up the cliff sides! It was amazing! we saw plenty of cows and sheep while we took in the country side driving! i cant believe by the end of this trip we will have explored 80% of southern Ireland! We also made a quick trip to Galway and found a nice shopping district and a few great pubs to stop at and have a drink! we met the nicest people in the pubs and shared a pint of Guiness with them! it was wonderful!

You guys are lucky to go inside the castle, it was closed when we went in 2009, but yes totally windy and really cold... We stayed in Killarney, we went with our local radio station and had a bus so we didn't get lost.. We went in February and it was nice.... You do see lots of weird stuff there in Ireland lol

And im surprised you guys didn't go to the Ailwee caves, it was just a few hundred meteres from Cork screw Hill, thats the real steep twisty road you wen't down. You guys would have loved it ! Far more so then the cliffs of moher !

You actually should visit a grave yard, i found the graveyards in scotland AMAZING!! the head stones and the dates of the dead were mind blowing. the musoleums were also finely crafted and spectacular. not to mention the wind doesnt even make noise there. cuz its dead wind :P

Also about the roads all the really old, windy, country roads still have really high speed limits for some reason.. you can go faster on them then some of our motorways

Great video. Makes me think of my Granny, & 1'o the last times I was able to spend A day W/her. She knew of all these little prayer spots, places W/Mother Mary shrines set up. All off in the cuts, hidden from tourists, with hundreds of good luck tokens left at the statues feet. Offerings i guess youd call'em. I usually ridicule this type'o thing, however there was a very real feeling overcame while i'd watch her pray. Always 4others, never4 herself... Real old school shit. God I miss her... "KN
