The cliff walk from Doolin is the best way to see them, it is a 3 mile hike and spectacular

The cliffs are incredible. I was there a few years ago, and the steps down to the edge were so cool. Beautiful views and photos to be had.

FYI:: Pat Sweeney's "Doolin Cliff Walks" from the small town of Doolin to Cliffs of Moher is a 3 hour one way walk along the cliffs. A Public Bus was our transportation from the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Center returning to Doolin. The views, waterfalls and farmland is breathtaking. Pat's family stories of life on their farm added a real feel for local life. The Doolin Cliff Walks project was started in 2007 by Pat assisting with the negotiations to secure access from the 39 farmers whose lands the trail had to cross. It was his experience of this spectacular route and his natural enthusiasm to share the experience of this unique walking trail that led him to the development of the tourism product Doolin Cliff Walk. His passion and knowledge of the locality sprinkled with family stories made for a memorable day. That night we had a grand meal with music at a local pub in Doolin. We walked this path with Pat in 2010 and hope to return to Doolin one day and repeat the experience plus do some hiking in the Burren's Way. Chris and Sara, your videos are awesome ! Thank you.

Somehow I missed these vids. Ireland roadtrip was second part our honeymoon. We visited Tullamore museum, Cliffs, plus we explored the whole area of Burren, there's a perfumery there which is absolutely mindblowing, it's in the middle of nowhere yet they grow a lot of their own herbs. Our trip was 5 years ago yet I still order the perfume for my wife from there. We then did the northern part, did some castles, dolmens and stuff, the northernmost point with a cute lighthouse, Giant's Causeway, Belfast (I recommend Titanic museum and Black Cab ride). And of course Dublin where we started and finished.
@chrisandsara4 жыл бұрын
Oh man! I wish we had known about the perfumery! That would have been so neat to visit. Dublin, Belfast, and Giant's Causeway are all on our list for next time. There's so much to see in this one little country!

Though we spent most of our three years in Dublin, this really took me back to the few times I did hit the countryside. And maybe a little like the beach area of Malihide our home was in. This series is awesome guys :) Stay safe, James and Kim

Went to the Cliffs of Moher and it was so fogged in that I never saw them. I could here waves crashing but never saw them. I could not even see the visitors center at the top of the hill from the paved walkway. I had to follow signs to get back. But the next day I went to Innis Mor and the weather was perfect!

You guys are not that far away! I'm in the next country over, also enjoying spring. Were you there before the lockdown or is this more recent? I just relocated back to the UK after a few years in subtropical hell and only made it in 48 hours before several countries closed their airports to transit passengers so I was very lucky.
@chrisandsara4 жыл бұрын
Thankfully we flew home the same day the travel ban went out in the USA so we were back in time. So glad you made it home in time and that you’re getting some nice spring whether while in lockdown, too. ☺️ The UK is on the list for one day soon (hopefully) so if you have recommendations, please pass them on!
