I use to live in Australia among a large Greek community. In fact my first boyfriend was Greek, but because of cultures and customs it didn't work out. However, he married the perfect girl for him, she was lovely and Greek. I met them years later and they had 3 children.

This is beautiful and I'm happy for the couple :) but I would hate a big wedding. If I ever do get married it will be under a tree barefoot in a bit of silk for a dress and I would only want the closest people to me there. Even as a child I hated weddings :') it's beautiful to watch others do it tho

My husband and I would have loved that, too! We actually did want to get married in the greek islands however my grandmother was sick and not able to travel. We both have quite large families. Our wedding had 220 people which is considered small (my sister had like 400) so I did cut back quite a bit ;) this was just close family and friends lol
