The one thing I disagree with on the driveway is the rebar not on blocks. Pet peve of mine, pulling up the rebar causes it to be wavy. It's the ocd in me😅

Stan around Philly, we are in an extreme drought. I don't think we have had any measurable rain for a month or more, and what we got them was less than a 1/4 inch. Grass chickens aren't very happy this summer fall season so far.

Stan next to those steps where is your water meditation. That is a lot of soil without a way to get rid of excess water. And we both know that once the roof drainage water starts staining the blocks or concrete, they will take the kicker off that down spout. The next five years is most likely going to rear the head of the next great depression. To much inflation to fast.

Mass migration to gold currency backed states 4 total economic collapse lasting for weeks. 5 a slow build back with many new politicians exposed and sent to jail.

The way some of the best companies started was by seeing a hole or niche in the market and then filling that in. So you could start your own channel and create the perfect videos that the rest of us just aren't getting. But you should have a thick skin because even though your trying to do everything right no matter what you do you will have people telling you how you need to do it better. Or pointing out what you do wrong.

That is not a good concrete crew, seem lazy… a bunch of things here to start a buggy being used when literally could have just got a belt truck or pump truck. there isn’t enough rebar in there and it isn’t even raised with rocks let along proper chairs and they don’t even pull it up. no power screed? Or checking heights with a laser stick? Hard to tell but I didn’t see any expansion joint put down against the wall or stairs. And where is the proper packed gravel base to start with?? Just my point of view but this looks like C grade work hope it doesn’t come back on you.

For some reason, when anybody suggests that bar chairs should be used, the concretors who don't use chairs and tie bars get all hurt and defensive.....dismissing their shortcuts as being perfectly acceptable with no possibility of producing a structurally unpredictable outcome. Leaving it to chance? Sounds like an engineering roulette wheel. A slab is a structural element not a decorative feature.
