Namely because you never know what cards will show up, as well as what insane combos the duelists will come up with to make SOME semblance of strategy...a strategy that usually goes out the window when they see whatever insanity their opponent has.

Just discovered this channel a couple days ago, really loving it and as a former videography student who still dabbles, really appreciate the effort put into the camera work and editing. I've actually got a question and a suggestion. Question - are these sorts of scammy boxes okay to buy if I'm just wanting to get cards for the sake of collecting rather than deck building, or would I still be better off looking elsewhere? Suggestion - I just watched that surprisingly good unofficial, unauthorized 2003 video for learning the game, I think you guys could totally make a really good, up-to-date guide like that with a somewhat silly story and with the sorts of plugs to things that Konami couldn't put out, like where to buy card sleeves, I never knew any of that as a kid, and really still don't now, so that could be fun for you and helpful to viewers.

You could buy lots - more cost efficient than these - just for collecting purposes, but don't expect much outside of commons and some rares

I have noticed some of these sorts of boxes in stores and been tempted, but was skeptical if they were legit, just based on how bare-bones some of the packages are, and also the whole thing of if something seems too good to be true, like that many cards for such a steal of a price, there's probably a catch.

This duel is just hit different. Because of the honesty. You could clearly see the true emotion of each people in the video. Especially Larry laziness/ unmotivated act. Paul throwback dialogue/self insert. etc. All that makes it look like unscripted and kinda unprofessional, but it also feel very familiar. Like your usual homemade videos. Full of sudden interruption (We need lifepoint! Use your phone!) and almost 0 act. Everything & everyone just being true to themselves. This is legit.

Ok so the mistakes I catched are: Time thief redoer indeed works on both standby phases D/D/D Chaos Apocalypse is a pendulum monster so when destroyed must go to the extra deck face up, this is relevant since it cane summon itself from GY Megalith portal allows you to add a ritual from GY to hand when you summon a Megalith Megalith Hagith must use itself as material when ritual summoning Let me know if I missed something

A small, hopefully constructive, criticism would be that they are a bit too frequent and sudden. They might hit a better rhythm if saved just for comedic / dramatic beats. so one thing about Megalith Hagith, while it does let you ritual summon a monster from your hand by tributing monsters from your hand or field, it also mentions that it needs to include itself as well. So that was a misplay on Alec's part here.

thats now how that special summon worked on the 2nd duel was it? it has to be a face up fire monster. and it was facedown so even though it gets flipped for the battle. because its destroyed it never counts as a face up fire monster.....
