In part 7, we go back to the Degasi site, make our Cyclops and head to the Aurora to learn more of the story.
This game has been suggested for a long time so I decided to check it out on Streams and explore. I've had a ton of fun just zoning out to this game so figured I'd sync this over for those who were looking for it!

3 tips 1. The waterbottles you craft with bleach is better than the ones you get from bladderfish. 2.The best edible plants are still on "plantland" for you to collect. You can knife marblemelons to get seeds. 3. Your next step is to look for blueprints in wrecks, you can use scanner rooms to look for wreck sites. Enjoying the playthrough, I love this game and it´s always nice seeing someone get really into it. :)

A lot of people will tell you that if you can hear the Reaper, it can see you because according to in-game lore, it can. In practice, this is not true, but it does mean that it's close enough that you should at least be on alert because it can sneak up on you.

17:36 You have skipped PDA in this locker. very important for story progression since picking it up will add a new beacon to explore.

"What do they do in there?" Jump out and surprise you, apparently. Note that "Silent Running" burns through your power about five times as fast as regular running. "Ahead Flank" makes a lot of noise *outside,* which attracts leviathans. And, yes, the larger ones *can* sink your Cyclops. Also, it overheats the engines pretty quickly...and you catch on fire (which is why the sub comes with a fire extinguisher). The Cyclops basically operates as a mobile base - you can put fabricators and modification stations and even grow beds inside.

You can build some stuff inside the cyclops, like planter boxes for food and recharger, etc. Combined with certain cyclops upgrades that give infinte power, this becomes a mobile base.

If you wanna always have food should put 2 reginalds into the alien container. They're even more nutritious than the peepers. And they multiply pretty fast.

Missed something important at the degassi mushroom base i believe. Definitely more crap at the alien island building, and gotta be brave and look further down than 300m. things can go down to 1800m+ or something. Also prawn suit + grapple great for bottom exploration. Propulsion cannon can be used to explore aurora further.

In the Moonpool, build a *Vehicle Upgrade Console* so you can make *Storage Upgrades* for the Seamoth. It's fast and can have x3 Storage (with x1 Depth Upgrade). You can also use the Vehicle Upgrade Console to *re-colour* and *re-name* your Seamoth. _Cyclops is shit this early in the game, it takes forever to explore. You've not even been 1000m in each direction from your base._ _Cyclops is best used for deeper stuff or if you want to build a new base (transporting all the resources)._

You should use the Fabricator in the Scanner Room and make the HUD chip (so it shows where all the resources are on your screen). Plant Creepvine Seed Cluster (Orange/Yellow seed from Kelp) it's pretty when it's grown and lights everything up. Cook fish with your knife if you need water out in the wild. Also, it's a waste of Salt to cure fish and eat them immediately. Just cook and eat them (cured food is for adventuring out with)...... Put two bladder fish in your alien containment +1 for going back to PlantLand (you missed a PDA there, possibly a different plant pot too). You missed x2 PDA's in JellyShroomCave, one 16:24 just outside the Habitation (out front, lower), and one 17:36 just inside (in locker, first room). 1:43:54 You missed a PDA on top of the locker in the Aurora. You also missed Single Wall Shelves to Scan (on the counter in the cafeteria, near the Captains Quarters). Instead of dropping the x2 Creepvine Fibres, you could make a Fiber Mesh and then create a 1st Aid Kit. If you wanna figure things out, you should scan everything, collect all the PDA's and READ THEM. You're tablet is full of data you've not read. Take a seat in your base while reading, to not expend hunger or thirst.

QOL improvements, filtered water is great 50+ water but your never use the disinfected water, 1 salt (tons in red grass zone, or from water filter) and coral shell (everywhere in lowlands) gives you 1 bleach which gives you 2 disinfected water 30+ vs bladder fish 20+, make 6 or so bleach and when you need water create it, compact storage. When exploring wrecks or looking for small deposits use the flashlight, superior light to sea glide and you don't need the speed when hunting recourses, plus it has better visibility and you can use it to smack rocks. Water filter needs to be under water for decent timed production.

Please install a bioreactor or nuclear reactor so that you don't run out of energy at night too... You can even build thermal reactors at heat vents and link it up to your base with power transmitters for unlimited free energy

Just imagine how loud they have to be in order for your character to hear them... 256 meters is around 839 feet. You are 840ft underwater you can still hear them. And they are loud af.

There's two main things you've missed story-wise: You skipped a lot of the alien building in the island And I'm pretty sure there's still a degasi PDA in the jelly shroom cave with coordinates I'm pretty sure that should be enough for you to know what to do now

Gonna let you know now unless chat has already told you, the Cyclops can be turned into a mobile base. Don't use the built in storage, make your own with the builder tool. More space and placement for your own personal needs. Also I'm surprised no one's told you. In the mushroom biome inside the base of the largest mushroom, there is a very special kind of egg. It's the egg of a cuddle fish. Once hatched and let out of the containment it will be your pet. However with your stalker friends outside it would be a horrid idea to let him be out there.

If you see this marz, excessive noise from the cyclops attracts creatures to attack, silent running is the best option. Also creature decoys lure predators away from the sub,useful for getaway situations. As always fantastic video, keep up the great work.

Tips: You don't need to chase Bladderfish all the time for water, just create one locker for Bleach (salt deposit + coral tube sample) to create disinfected water. Water Filtered machine is good for area (for example if you build base in lava zone) where you can't find coral tube sample or Bladerfish.

I agree with you about the Cyclops, in that I don't see much point in it. It's huge and hard to maneuver, and I'd much rather use the Sea Moth for getting around. The only real benefit of the Cyclops is that it acts as a mobile base.

It’s also more durable than the Seamoth. It can better withstand Leviathan attacks, although it isn’t invulnerable, and it can also dive deeper down. Plus, it’s not an either/or choice: The Cyclops can carry a docked Seamoth or Prawn Suit, and it will recharge it from its Power Cells.

47:25 At one point during the early access phase, you could somehow super-charge the speed of your Seaglide by using an Ion Battery in it, but the higher speed caused a lot of glitches, so they removed that, and instead Ion Batteries just contain 5 times as much energy as normal ones.

TIP: Those steam vents in the Jellyshroom caves are a terrific source of power for your base, but you have to be very careful because they are hotter than most vents in the game and can easily boil you alive. Not saying you have to, but I built a platform with some thermal generators and a power line from there to my first base in the shallows. It was a lot of work, but when I did it all my power problems ceased because I had a constant source of power. I had more electricity than I knew what to do with. It works day and night and requires almost no maintenance.

@@bmd794 because I usually have to go to a terrifying place (Reaper infested biomes usually) to mine some uranium to build the reactor rods. Heat sources are much easier (and safer) to come by, in my opinion.

I did a yellow submarine with a black stripe and named it after the cat bus from My Neighbor Totoro. You can build a bunch of lockers in there and fill it with enough materials to make a whole base!

Propulsion cannon to get in the lower area of Aurora. You have to go there for prawn suit fragments (all 4 in one room) and you can fix the reactor so the radiation zone disappears.

Don’t mess with the Drooping Stingers! I tried dodging them. I got killed by them more times than any other creature in the game, including the Leviathans. Ultimately, you will need a tool or two to move them around safely so you can explore without risking becoming their fertilizer.

how can u move them? well u dont die if u get hit by one. dodging them is pretty easy if u know how to move. their damage is temporary so no big deal if its only one...so take it slow

Just a tip. If you build 2 different alien containment about 3 levels high and put peepers in 1 and bladder fish in the other, the fish will breed over time and you will have unlimited food and water.

Blue is the 6th. Black I'd say should be The Black Keys... although I believe there's another band actually called Black Submarine so... I believe there's a kid's song for a purple one? White should be named the Ballad of Whitey Mack... but that's really pushing it cuz I'm pretty sure the sub wasn't white, but I'm choosing to believe it was. ... TIP: Do not drive your Cyclops sub head-first into a Reaper Leviathan. Reapers have 5000 health. Cyclops only has 1500 health and no practical means of attacking, just some upgrades for defensive purposes.

I am on seamoth 3. First one I got it stuck in the island with the old habitats on it. Literally it got stuck in the texture. My second one got stuck on the ramp of death in the aurora. I refuse to fuck around inside aurora after getting thr seamoth upgrade. Tired of that petty stalking leviathan always jump scaring me and the freaky murky water.

u missed some PDAs in the locker room. u missed a TON of PDAs in the degasi seabase in the jellyshroom caves. some are near the base and not in it...on the down slope near it. one of these will help u find where to go next.

Everyone plays in a different way- this is true, but still using bladderfish as your main water source this far in? Also "I don't know what to do next" whilst having literally dozens of unread notes in the pda is kinda twisting my melon a little. However, her laughter-screams and general narration make it worth the petty quibbles a dozen times over
