And especially don't speak to or pray to dead people. The Bible is made for a child to understand. Please find for me where anyone in the scripture prays to a dead person for a blessing. One cannot make a better documentary on the Life and ministry of St.Paul than the one we watch now. I have watched all the episodes In Pursuit of Paul by Con Campbell. Thank you so much, Br.Campbell for your erudite, historically accurate, and passionate commentary on the greatest Apostle of our Lord Jesus Christ. A great theologian and zealous follower of our LordJesus , we are what we are today as a worldwide faith and a universal church with faith in Christ alone for our salvation because of this one man. The Just shall live by faith is the core teaching of St.Paul and his Epistle to the Romans is the greatest theologial treatise for every Christian.

There are many claiming Paul did not personally know the fleshly Jesus and is therefore no real apostle. In fact, Paul is very different than all other apostles leaving even James to conclusions exposing him having had difficulties to properly understand Paul. Contrary to others, Paul called Jesus mostly CHRIST JESUS for reasons he explained in 2 Cor 5:11-17; in verse 16 he tells exquisitely that He does not care about the FLESHLY JESUS, ὥστε ἡμεῖς ἀπὸ τοῦ νῦν οὐδένα οἴδαμεν κατὰ σάρκα· εἰ δὲ καὶ ἐγνώκαμεν κατὰ σάρκα Χριστόν, ἀλλὰ νῦν οὐκέτι γινώσκομεν. I really these series of Pursuit of Jesus, Getting to know Paul, etc. they really are excellent. I grew up on "Our Daily Bread and still use it--I am 60 now!!! Most of--well all of my adult life I have been chronically ill with Lupus--I am a disabled RN, and my GI Tract is paralyzed. It is amazing what God will teach you about your walk with Him if you are willing to listen. I do send money to ODB when I can. Thank you for all you do!!!! I truly love Jesus and have served Him in years past, now I serve through prayer, I pray for "Our Daily Bread" Ministry and those involved in it. It was very touching to hear Con's story. Hi, thanks for the visuals of Apostle Paul's journey. You gave me the impression that Apostle Paul was preaching against the law as if its done away but from what i read Paul was looking to establish the law. “30 Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith. 31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law. ” Romans 3:30-31 At that time the Jews thought their salvation is through ordinaces instead through grace by faith in the blood of the lamb they were sacrficing. Paul explains this especially in his writtings to the Hebrews and Galatians. “For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. ” Romans 7:14 As a carnal person i cannot make myself spiritual through the law and obey it. It is only through accepting by faith the blood of Jesus (forgiveness) on me and receiving the Holy Spirit (thus acquring the power to live a godly life in keeping God's law that is spiritual). As a person becomes a "new creature" or "born again", they receive a new heart, a "divine nature" and now the law is not a dread or a burden but sweetness to live by, for it is God's law. Thus they walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit by faith. Accordingly, the law is not of sin and death anymore for by faith through Lord Jesus we can live in accordance with the law. “3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4 *That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.*” Romans 8:3-4 KJV Blessings to all God loves you all May you also humble yourself and delight to obey your Creator with faith that works by love.

It is so touching and moving to think that Paul could preached against Jesus in that northest synagogue when his pursuing Jesus-followers but on his returning way in that same synagogue he preached for Jesus, the real Messiah. What a stunning shock he would bring to the Jews of there! Jesus is so humourous positively. He lets His followers shed tear with joy and smile with tear: He touches them in their deepest inner selves. Praise to Jesus!
