Val I don't understand what the cooking before freezing does for the okra. I just mix the okra in cornmeal and put in zip lock bags.

You said preheat oven to 500? And we’re gonna this in the oven for 10 to 15 minutes at 500 degrees? My okra will be burnt at 500 degrees for 10 minutes

Well. Adjust it according to your oven. I do understand that all ovens are different. You just want to heat it through quickly. Not cook it. Hope that helps. Thank you for watching.
