You can substitute pistachios for the macadamia nuts. The colors are more appropriate for Christmas.

I can listen to you all day! I love to cook as well and I love all of your cooking tips. We moved from Louisiana when I was 2 but my mom taught me how to cook and I’ve learned from other people. I, too, have a vitamix that i never use...lol. I got it when QVC had it as a special value and they had a pink one that matches my kitchen. How could I not? Now I just need to start using it. I do love hummus so I should give it a try. :)

On your vitamix lid, place on the rim/side of the plastic container. You have the lid on/over the handle. The change will keep the lid on with out needing to push down on the container for security. You probably have too much Hummus which will cause the vitamix to stop working,. I would have probably used 1/2 at a time.

Funny together, not chaotic. All look delicious! The Vitamix top/cover tabs, go onto the sides of the canister. You were placing it above the handle. Hope your family party was a side splitting, fun time! Blessings, and thank you for taking the time to make me laugh, and gain more knowledge.
