You can spray your roses with a little clear sealer and it will hold them together better. With hydrangeas leave them in water till they dry. Plus if you do it later in the season they'll do better. You can spray them with sealer too. It helps. Use a mat Finnish if you don't want to change the look of the flowers.

In Finland, bouquets of roses are given at significant birthdays, confirmation and graduation; then dried and displayed in a vase for decades. My daughter's lasted 10 years before the roses started to fall apart. Yes, remove the leaves before hanging upside down. Rose buds work best--hang before they start to open up. Daisies (flowers without stems) etc., can be laid in a box of silica gel and covered with more of that powder. When dry, they can be glued to a flat surface.

I've been told if you spray them with hairspray or clear top coat before you hang them to dry they will look better and not shed

Teresa a tip I use to save my transfers is this, I keep a stapler on my worktop and when I have scrap of a transfer I staple the backing to the transfer sheet right away. I’ve had transfers stay good for years because the backing was attached. I hope this helps. I enjoy your videos so much.

Hi Teresa, the trick to drying roses and other flowers is to hang them upside down when they are fresh in a dark place. I do mine in the garage.

Teresa, spray your dried roses or most any flowers, with hair spray OR clear sealer. It will help them not fall apart with age, and keep their color.

I really liked how the frame with the transfer was staged with the lavender. It really brought out the little bunches from the transfer! So cute. My favorite flower was the burlap one. It reminded me of a dried flower.

Oh the dried roses in the frame stole my heart and I LOVE the tip to add a little rub on saying to the ribbon. I have a question though. Do the have to be upside down? I'm just wondering because I have never mounted dried flowers before.
