Father God in Heaven we praise You for the gift of new life in Jesus. As we long to grow up with him, please pour out Your grace on us. Open our eyes to the enemy's hidden traps, deliver us from the pressures our carnal nature, and help us live in the Spirit, through Jesus, Amen.

Im actually reading about the purgative way in St John of the Cross “ Dark Night of the Soul”. I feel like it’s speaking to where I’m at and was in The Way. Jaw dropping to stop and realize what was happening and what is happening what God is doing with me now. To ❤ 🙏🏻4 others❤Almsgiving ❤Fasting is to truly deny oneself and love God.

I think of "a pretentious life" as "Hollywood" and everything they represent when there are so many people that are hungry and homeless, and try not to support them (the rich) by watching their movies, etc...Disney has gotten my last penny, and I try to live a very simple lifestyle, giving to charitable organizations that actually help the needy...

Romans 11:5 KJV "Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election (chosen) of Grace. 6 And if by Grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise Grace is no more Grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more Grace: otherwise work is no more work." Note: Grace and works cannot go together. They contradict one another. Grace is a free gift but works are actions and deeds done to earn and deserve a reward. Therefore, how can you work to deserve and earn a free gift???
