In this video, I'm sharing my labor delivery with you all. We went through over 3 years of infertility and loss to finally get to this point. It was an intense and surreal experience, and I wanted to share it with you all so you can get a little bit of a glimpse of what Cooper's birth was really like. I wanted to try to have a natural birth or at least go long without an epidural. At 7cm I decided to get one but the ended up needing pitocin, an episiotomy and lastly the vacuum to get him out! It was tough but I'm so grateful for all the blessings that came along with it!

Oh, he’s GORGEOUS!! I am a labor and delivery nurse, and I’m so sorry you didn’t get the birth exactly that you wanted. That is often the case, especially with first babies. I have had 4 kids first child emergency C-section because he was coming fast, so there no option for the epidural, but he git stuck, so had to do an emergency C-section the other 3 was totally natural. I say mom knows her body and her baby, so if you feel you need something, then you need it. Thank God all went well with you and your beautiful baby. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

GOD is so good what a precious little blessing and im so happy you didn’t have to get a C Sec either, epidurals really do increase the risk significantly and it sounds like you got blessed with a wonderful Midwife. Your son is so so so precious. I remember when my son was that tiny 🥺

He was only 7.1 but looks so much bigger! He is now in the 86th percentile! He eats non stop😂 he’s doubled his birth weight!

As a midwife I advise ladies if your membranes break, please go in. Walking around with broken membranes can result in cord prolapse which is a major emergency you wont be able to cope with at home.
