Wonderful video! Thank you for education folks like us that are unaware. I have wondered about her gums and teeth. Is the misshapen gum due to the condition, and does it cause you problems maintaining hygiene for her?

Much love, it's nice to see a sane, compassionate parent who actually cares about their kid's comfort and quality of life. Thank you for making this. It looked like she smiled so big when you talked about her being your baby forever. I truly hope she's aware of you on some level because it seems so. Best wishes. PS Even more thanks for spanking those horrible anti-vaxxers!

Our reasons our lives our Sanity💜 1) Can you explain in 1 of your videos, if a clinical trial was done to improve Makayla's life, would you be apart of the trial??? 2) Would you be able to find a way for Makayla to make friends?? 💜❤️💜❤️💜❤️💜❤️ ❤️💜❤️💜❤️💜❤️💜 I just believe no matter what if a child or adult has a disability or disabilities they should be allowed to make friends. ❤️💜❤️💜❤️💜❤️💜 💜❤️💜❤️💜❤️💜❤️ I hope you are not mad Tiffany. 💜

I care for a 12-year-old with lissencephaly. She is just like Makalya; even looks quite a lot like her. My girl is sweet and sassy, though non-verbal. Certain sounds make her smile or even belly laugh. She understands people's feelings but not their words, like you mentioned with Makalya.

Thanks for your explanation of Makaylas condition, Tiffany. I appreciate the time and effort you put in to make this video informative yet understandable, and I also find your honesty refreshing. Your personal choices regarding Makayla (how you manage certain aspects of her condition, how you speak to her, which activities you involve her in, etc) are between you and her, and providing she is happy, comfortable and within a loving family, I think it's unfair for others to give you a hard time over your decisions. Unless someone is dealing with the situation, they don't know how they'd respond in your circumstances, so I think they should consider that before judging. Thanks for opening MY eyes today. Love to you and your family 💟💟💟

Thank you for sharing this video about Makayla. I've watched a few of your vlogs, and had questions about her. I know she can't talk, but, at times, her facial expresssions are quite clearly, saying it all. And you hear her, so that's great. I've noticed she smiles a lot a Damien too. I think she enjoys enteracting with him. He's a good bro to his sister. 💞

A really informative video. I had wondered why Tiffany spoke to Makayla in “baby talk”. I can’t help but wonder about the *quality* of her life though. Tiffany said she’s a baby in a 9 year olds body and whilst she’s aware of voices and people being around her, it seems as though she is just existing and not living a meaningful life. It might sound uneducated and harsh, but I can’t help but feel sad for Makayla.

Thank you so much for this video! I'm always interested in learning more about the whole family. I'm not someone who will ask intrusive questions like "why do you talk to her like a baby?" And I can't believe people even do that. It's more than obvious your whole family is happy and healthy, so why question anything?? I, personally, feel a little weird asking personal questions about Makayla and her condition because I figure you share everything you're comfortable sharing with us, but I am interested in her life and always glad to see how well you all are doing and I really appreciate everything you do share with us!!
