You know what she’s doing right now?, she’s walking in heaven, she’s walking for the first time, she’s running around excited and happy, she’s free from all medications, free from needles and tests, free from doctors and wheelchairs and feeding tubes, she can finally jump, run, tumbling and rolling in heavens warmth waiting for you and her family to see her again when the time is right, she can draw in the clouds and swing in the wind. When freckles appear on your skin that’s her kissing you, when the long grass infolds you that’s her hugging you tight, when the trees give you shade that’s her embracing you, and when the rain wets your face that’s her tears of joy, when the crickets chirp and the wolf’s howl in the night, that’s her whispering night night.

I've had friends with kids who are disabled and family members, but I personally will never know how that is. Sometimes we take our "healthy or normal" children for granted even tho we try do hard not to or may not realize....or at least I do. I have said thank you over and over for my youngest in particular bc he was my "miracle baby" I cannot imagine what this young lady is going through so many emotions, there are no words to describe how losing a child must feel. I've watched other ppl go through it and it's too painful to try and imagine, just like seeing your child suffer DAILY sometimes for years and years so my heart goes out to all of you. ❤❤❤

It's been almost 5 years since my sister passed unexpectedly Thanksgiving night. My mom and I are still grieving, it still feels like it was yesterday when I got the phone call.

@Sergeant Jadon Aw I'm so sorry, it truly sucks losing someone on the holidays but Thanksgiving and Christmas have to be the worst. At a time when you're supposed to be thankful for what you have then a death in the family occurs, its kinda hard to be in the holiday spirit especially when you have so many unwanted emotions flowing through your mind and body. I know your pain so I'll say a little prayer for you. The pain never really goes away you just learn to deal with it.

I’m very sorry for your loss. On March 2nd, I lost my cousin. She was 52 and severely disabled (Down syndrome, epilepsy, dementia) and we knew she was declining, however her death was still sudden and shocking. She came down with a pneumonia and died within a few days. She had lived with us for the last two years, my mom as her guardian, and she died at home, in her own bed, peacefully. There is no easy way for things like this to happen. And right now is especially difficult because the whole world is upside down so there’s no way to find a new normal. But it’ll get better. It will.

I have a disabled daughter who wasn’t suppose to live past a year old and although her passing will come before her dad and I and we have “prepared” for it, we will never be okay when the day comes. It’s a shitty position parents with disabled children have to be put in. Your speech was beautiful Tiff and you were so strong through it. Deaths seem to come in waves which makes it all so much more difficult. I pray God blesses your family with peace. Stay strong sweet Momma! This hits home hard. My sister passed away at 15 and it was the absolute hardest and most heart wrenching moment in my life. My sister was born with VACTERL syndrome and has struggled her entire life. I don’t know if you will ever see this but please know that it does get better after a while. Burying a child is something no one should ever have to experience but these experiences do make you stronger at the end of the day💗 I am praying for you and your family during this time😢💞
