Gunn isn't writing or directing anything now. The head of the studio should be there. This looks bad for him. He is likely avoiding being booed or a lackluster response like he got at the New York CC panel, but even if he has some legit reason, it looks like he is hiding. @@OurMovieNews Personally I think next month is too early for a Superman trailer. The film will still be 7 months out at that point. But you can promote the film in other ways besides a trailer. They are trying to not only build a brand, but to repair a heavily damaged brand. DC needs an appearance at CCXP. Gunn should be there for the studio as a whole, not just Superman. He's the head of the studio. It's a big event. He could give updates about other projects. He could show some still photos from Superman. My point is just that he's not directing anything at the moment so he has time to be there. It's just a few days, and him not being there looks bad for him and the studio.

We are getting the Superman Teaser Trailer on February 9, 2025 during the Super Bowl, then we will get the Superman Official Trailer sometime in April 2025, then Superman releases in Theaters on July 11, 2025 and is the only film from DC Studios, the reason I know this is true and what is going to happen is because we all know that this year the Deadpool & Wolverine Teaser Trailer came out on February 11, 2024 during the Super Bowl, then we got the Deadpool & Wolverine Official Trailer which came out on April 22, 2025, then Deadpool & Wolverine released in Theaters on July 26, 2024 and was the only film from Marvel Studios.

I'm not trying to jump the Gunn but they'll release a teaser at CCXP and the first trailer at the super bowl. They may release a 2nd trailer around May/June to really ramp up marketing but it seems most of Gunn's films have a teaser and 1 trailer. But who knows, he may do 2 trailers since the performance of this film will be integral for the DCU.
