Excellent. Enjoyed that bts talk through. I did have to struggle through the music though, too loud in places. Thanks for the video, I appreciated it.

Great instructional video, what is the name of that dual bracket on top of the camera? And why can't you use a camera connect app to Talk to the iPad? Thank you

Great content! What rolling bag do you use to haul c stands? Been trying to find a decent bag for heavy gear like c stands. Thx!!

This is the best walk through I have seen Ian. The thought process in my opinion, is a much better pathway to creating a narrative in each image - what am I saying with this image and how do I achieve that with the tools I have with me.

It was very ironic when watching your video that I was actually thinking about Joel Grimes and his shooting style. Very cool shoot and really a perfect subject in his own environment. Nice job.

How many MP is the camera you use and how is the performance of the Camranger 2 with the camera?

Great video Ian, need a commercial version of that notebook 😂. It’s a good job you knew the venue and didn’t take the 2 umbrellas for the stack, not sure they would have fit.

This is great stuff!! Right to the point and very interesting how to direct the subject. I have a couple questions, you mentioned in the video you’re from LA, how much would be a session like that one from a professional photographer ( anybody?). Trying to see what the cost range in the city. Second, did the subject brought the idea or it was like more conceptual photography for you? I love the R5 with 24-105mm a great combo 🙌🏻🙌🏻

How do you notate lighting positions in your notebook from a prior on location photo shoots?
@IanSpanier21 күн бұрын
I typically don't notate that anymore as I can tell from the angle of light in the sample image and/or I tend to light from the same general angles. Note as well, that it's a variable based on the location, my subject, etc. etc.

Very good show, partly because I use strobes and a light meter too. And the final shots are very good. He should have several prints. (and ther's no "a" in the middle of aperture.) -BAK-

Why ruin the music ? Not loud enough to cover you voice. (But thank You. Generous.)
