No father figure or discipline, this is why he acts out. Thinks he can do what he wants. I really respect the head teacher for being patient and kind to even the naughtiest of kids and giving them a second chance. She comes from my home town, Southampton and I read in a news article that she didn't do well at school, became a teen mum and also grew up in one of the roughest parts of Southampton, so to turn this failing school around is great to see. Kids are lucky to have her as a head. I went to a private school in Swaything, Southampton and I even think she'd make a great head there too (This was 16 years ago though lol).

Not at all, and I was a high achiever. Getting away from that cesspit of bullying and random violence, and going on to further education with people who actually enjoyed learning, or at were at least there because they had the motivation to achieve goals down the road, was such a relief.

Broke my foot on sports day...teachers thought I was just trying it on and made me walk round on it all day and walk up and down the track side to take the scores and house bands back and forth. Thought I was going to throw up from the pain and pass out, but trooped along. Mum picked me up and my foot was purple and swollen up over my shoe so she lobbed a big pack of frozen peas on it and drove me to the hospital. Teacher still refused to believe my foot was broken when I turned up to school the next day, despite being strapped up. Nasty teacher!
@endless_song2 жыл бұрын
@@sugondese5497WTF is a "blue paper towel"? I keep hearing Brits reference this jokingly when talking about going to the school nurse. Are papers towels usually blue in the UK? Or is it a special kind of paper towel?
