WOW. Exploring the Lake Como area for the first time was something else! We absolutely loved our 3 days here and wish we had more time! The lake is set against the foothills of the Italian Alps. It's shaped like an upside-down Y with the famous resort town Bellagio at the middle. We stayed in the Northern, lesser-known town called Domaso. We camped (yes with a toddler and newborn) for 3 nights at Solarium Camping and Apartments: address: Via Case Sparse, 236, 22013 Domaso CO, Italy, and loved it! We would highly recommend the location.

Looks like such a wonderful family vacation! Next time you are in the area, maybe have a look at Lake Garda? Americans tend to flock to Lake Como, while Lake Garda is full of Germans 😂 I´d love to hear your take on the differences!

The Gardasee was almost dried out this year (49 cm), but now it seems to have doubled it's water level (100 cm)....

Between Lake Como and Lake Garda there are two smaller ones: Iseo and Idro. They are less crowded with tourists and they have an equally romantic and somewhat mysterious atmosphere

I agree with you, Italy seems to be overrated a bit in my opinion and I'm from Italy, Lugano is absolutely a place to enjoy your days!

Lugano is a very dull area, like a graveyard, and the food is not worth the high price, but Lake Como and nearby places are quite vibrant, and the residents are very pleasant, unlike the Swiss nasty attitude.

@@boytiti5446 I’m sorry you feel that way. Leaving aside the ugly national stereotypes, Lake Lugano is beautiful as is Lake Como. Switzerland has a higher standard of living and is more expensive than Italy, sure, but you need to relax, man.

Thanks for the questions! We have absolutely loved our time here! In many ways, and overall, it’s exceeded our expectations. We had never been to Germany so we really didn’t have many expectations though. We can definitely say dreams have came true!

I'm writing this from moab. My German husband and I have finally arrived in utah. Of course I am thinking of you. Especially how you described working on irrigation systems as part of your childhood. Although Idaho claims the technology that revolutionized irrigation in the earliest settling of this country. It's astounding to see the networks and types of water bringing systems. Hubert, Idaho has a verse on a plaque and its city center from Isaiah. Water will flow in the desert. So much to see in we utah. Someone must explain how the vertical arches work. I get the horizontal, pothole type. Tomorrow canyonlands. Oh hey. We saw petroglyphs! And had the best fish tacos ever. Poor us in Germany.

Looks like you have pollen allergies , it's better to take medication at night before sleep because if you take pills during day time you will feel tired and exhausted because they are too strong..

Yes, but not too late, they take some time to kick in. Time can of course differ between bodys, whether you ate before or not (please do not believe the advertisements about crazy fast onset times etc. - just observe yourself) - There is a rather new variant of Cetirizin with only the aktive (R)-Enantiomer of the substance in it: LEVOcetirizin. Simplified that means they only contain half of the dosage resulting in full substance effect but halved side effects. - If you use Loratidin, there is also DESloratidin/Aerius, a Metabolit from the substance that also only needs half the dosage. -> Both are a bit more expensive than the normal ones, but I recommend* to use one of the above instead of the normal versions, not only because of possible sleepiness but especially due to Noa's breast drinking habits! *Note/disclaimer: If your doctor or pharmacist proposed something else, I will not argue. This is by no means a professional advice (which I'm not allowed to give), this is just my personal private tipp influenced from what I learned coming from a family with pharmacists and a doctor sister having a breast drinking baby herself...

Lol we wish we werent working full time, but we are behind the scenes! It does help that Tanner gets 12 weeks paid time off with Noa so we are traveling more this summer for sure! 😊
