You guys have to put into perspective that this film came in 2010 and really stretched the budget and resources in what an Indian film could be. The VFX was unlike anything we'd seen in Indian films to date, and the concept and ethics around AI, humanoids, and humanity were honestly really well established in this film especially in the context of how all of could technically intermingle in Indian society. 2010 was before a bulk of the MCU as well, and the Russo Brothers have actually cited Enthiran and a film they took inspiration from in developing Age of Ultron. Sure the VFX hasn't aged as well and there are some more "masala" elements that were the norm back in the day that seem unecessary and make the film bloated for modern audiences. But you guys have been doing Indian films for long enough to know this. Enthiran isn't a film that you watch in 2024 and expect everything to hold up and have grounded logic, but the film was unbelievably important in helping our industry push the boundaries of sci-fi and big budget films, while also having strong educational concepts around robotics and AI which I think is just as relevant today as it was in 2010.

Guys why do you always want the kind of reaction you like to have. They have mind of their own they have brains which can function without anyone's help. They have their own opinions their own way of analysing a film. And if you can't digest if someone is not liking something doesn't mean they shouldn't be allowed to see it. I expected Better from OSR's audience.

Technically & musical department wise it was well made for 2010 South Asian budget Standards. But when we consider the actual screenplay , comedy scenes , romance track etc this film had not aged well. No wonder they are cringing at many scenes.

Rrr explain?
@lkoshy8079 ай бұрын
@satan563 what about RRR? There are many sequences where it is laughable or exciting...it depends on the tonality of the scene... I didn't like RRR as much as Baahubali, though its tonality was the same. Despite being a thalaivar fan....Even when I watched Enthiran in 2010, there were too many cringe scenes for me, but I like Rajni and over the top masala at times. I looked at the final package at the end....I didn't like RRR or Enthiran, but the execution on RRR was better (screenplay wise). The whole Rangusky sequence was ridiculous even for 7 year old kids....but I get it. It's a marketing tool by producers to promote it to families....But I do prefer Enthiran to the sequel 2.0 I watched enthiran more times than that piece of sh*t sequel.
