Fun fact : As this was the first movie of Hrithik, he went to a popular theatre of Mumbai to notice the public reaction. He went in as an unknown guy, came out as a Phenomenon. He was mobbed by the fans and the theatre owner had to call the police to get him out. Kaho naa Pyaar Hai was the biggest hit of the year. Hrithik won both Best Actor and Best Debut awards for this film. That's how bollywood got its LAST SUPERSTAR.

Ughhh. All my knowledge and existence of Bollywood started from this movie. I was 9-10 at that time and my dad bought home some cassettes and Kaho na pyar hai was one of those. Heard the songs. Got obsessed with the movie. Hrithik became my absolute favorite since then. Kaho na pyar hai is a legit good movie.
