I am not sure she got married. Her brother tells her that there was a phone call (from Manu). The wedding was in Manu's imagination, I think. Hence, the emotional state he is in at the end. I also keep going back to the fact that her father told her that no matter where she went, she would carry the sea in her heart. And she called Manu "her sea". That has to have some significance. We do not see her husband even once in the trailer. But, there is a child. So, either she did get married and had a kid and may be her husband isn't around. Or else the child is Manu's and she pretends to be married to avoid awkward questions from society. I think the ending might be bitter-sweet. That beach scene may be the climax.

Honestly, I had thought SSE side A would be the kind of movie Rick would love. He's always so fond of movies that glorifies love and the hardships it entails. I'd still love to hear his thoughts though. I'm curious about what he didn't like in the movie. But I'm willing to bet anything that it wasn't the Visuals and the Music for sure. They were as good as it could get. ❤

That's what I thought as well. But, I have observed that Rick can be extremely inconsistent in his likes and dislikes and over silly reasons sometimes. So, I don't try to predict his reaction anymore.
