I'm with you! Love the cuddles the baby is getting. You are so lucky with your kids, l love all of y'alls interactions with each other. My sisters & I got baby ducks for easter one year. We got him a baby pool. He could not swim & we didn't know how to teach him to swim. He was like a pet till he died. I cried my eyes out when he past away.

The incubator reminds me of the good old days when my daughter researched, designed and built (with some help from her dad doing the cutting) her own incubator for her fifth grade science fair entry! It was great fun! She put chicken, duck and goose eggs that she collected from a neighbors farm in at the same time and much to my amazement they all hatched! It didn’t cost a dime, because she used various items we had around the house, including styrofoam for insulation. The worst part was finding someone to take all the fowl off our hands!

The pool is the best investment the two of you could have made. Seth is getting so big. All of your kids are gorgeous! That would be very nice if you open that room up and make a big family room. Sarah and Solo, have you ever thought of getting a big sectional? It would give you lots more room for seating. Sarah, don't worry about how your house looks. I'm so tired of cooking too Sarah. You have the cutest Cleopatra I've ever seen!!! Seth looks so relaxed with Judah...so sweet. Neat project for the duck incubation. Great job on the art projects. The toy room looks great! It's always refreshing to purge the excess....yes I have the spring cleaning fever. I am going to do the same with stocking up on nonperishable food. They have predicted that we may have a few waves of these shelter in place orders over the coming year or so. So awesome that some of the kids were able to enjoy the pool for a few minutes. Such a blessing for your family and the heater and cover are awesome. Seth is the cutest baby ever!!! I love all of your renovation plans....I think they all make a lot of sense to do...you have great ideas Sarah!

Hang in there friend❤️ She tries to read a good book only while eating, deliver part of the meal to someone she knows or eat outside to break up the eating alone rut. Listen to upbeat music while doing the dishes. I can’t wait for all this to end. I would love to have a dinner party or eat at a restaurant with live music🥰

Cook one meal, double or triple the recipe and freeze the excess. Once you do that several times you have a variety of meals you can pop out of the freezer. I've been doing this since my kids are mostly gone (2 still at home and work different schedules, they can come home and there is a selection in the freezer). Couldn't cut down the recipes after years of cooking the same way. I buy the single portion aluminum pans on Amazon or double portions and eat the same for lunch and dinner. I cook once a week and make salads or whatever during the week for fresh food. I probably have 9 different types of meals in the freezer right now. Not ideal, but you aren't cleaning up pots and pans every night.

We raise ducks. DO NOT try to help them hatch when they start. Keep them very warm when they do. You can let them swim for very short, supervised times, after couple days. Dry them off and keep very warm til dry. You can use newspapers or shavings from hardware stores. Bathtub will be too slick, Very shallow dish for constant water, keep food also, NOT MEDICATED FEED, available at all times. Happy Duckling Days! Hope this helps!

Hi Sarah, Solo, and beautiful family! I can relate to the urge to clean out, and donate/throw away stuff. Last week I started a kitchen cabinet re-organizing project that took several days to complete, but I got rid of so much stuff it was amazing. I have a very large kitchen with tons of cabinets and drawers. I had an entire drawer dedicated to grocery shopping bags, and ridiculous things like that. I now have a very neat, and tidy kitchen. canned goods and jar foods are lined up neatly by expiration dates. I ordered clear pantry containers and put all my dry goods like flour, sugar, baking soda, oats, pastas, cereals, snacks, etc...in the containers. My kitchen project has now steered me to all the other cabinets and dressers in my home for cleaning out and reorganizing. I think these projects are keeping me from going completely crazy! Sometimes I find myself feeling like a caged animal. Thank you for keeping the videos coming. I love to take a break and tune into your channel for some calm relaxation. I just love your adorable family and you all make my day!

I've also been cleaning, decluttering and organizing.I think it's partially just normal spring cleaning mixed with being more aware of the junk in the house and wanting that space to be not wasted on stuff we don't need so that we have space for things we do need. I think it's smart you are setting aside some space for food storage as it is going to be even more important now than ever before.

Our oldest just hatched chicken eggs for the first time so now we have cute little chicks running around 😍 We just used a flashlight in a dark room to “candle” the eggs. It was amazing to see!

I have been reading up on hatching ducks for a future project since I have already done this with chickens. I noticed that you have the incubator set at 37.5°f, I just wanted to let you that the temperature for the incubator should be set at 37.5°C (99.5°F) and relative humidity at 55%. This comes from Cornell university. I have gotten so much information from their site maybe your kids could find out more from them online. Also I have said this many, many times but I just love your family. Your kids are amazing and you can tell by watching any one of your vlogs just how respectful and loving they are to one another. WOW, I am definitely living in the wrong state! I always thought it was cold in Nebraska but it is still in the 30s here and it snowed yesterday! We don't get temps in the 60s until mid-May and most of the time we can't swim until late June, early July. I can't believe how warm it is there! You are so lucky. Love your pool!

Your house reno plans sound wonderful! Maybe you could empty out those kitchen cabinets (the ones you're thinking of removing), and store their contents elsewhere. Try it for a week or two to see if you can reasonably part with the cabinets (and still maintain your sanity!)
