I’m 33 years old with my own family, but I’m now considering putting myself up for adoption so that Solo’s family can adopt me. The love in that family just permeates through the screen. Such a lovely, welcoming group of people! ❤️

Hahaha! This seriously just crossed my mind. I was thinking, man, I wonder if they want anymore kids?? 🤔 And I didn't mean my two. Just this 35 year old! 🙋🏻♀️ It's nice to see the love and respect these siblings have for one another.

Too late. I applied long ago and im 41yrs old😂😂😂. But seriously Solo and Sarah should do parenting classes. My kids are fighting constantly and im at my wits end. I feel like i went wrong somewhere. May God make it easy for all parents. Kids don't come with a manual and most parents struggle at this task

Oh a wonderful vlog!! I smiled through the whole thing. I love seeing the adventures abroad and I love seeing the home front! So glad Solo can go to Kenya and experience his childhood homeland again. And to take the oldest kids with him. And kudos to Sarah for having carried on. Your canning skills are impressive. I've done alot of canning in my days but none for many, many years. I'm starting again this year and will try meat. I want to get some of the meat in my freezer canned and to do some beans etc too. Great vlog!!

You have a lot going on thee. Canning a little here and there will add up. Quick meals in a jar might be helpful too. Soups, stews, chili. If you make dinner, can you double it and can half? I’ve been canning for awhile and I still love getting new ideas. Also, can food when it’s in season. Oranges are a really good example. Water bath can them when they are cheap. Helps the budget on off season. There is a drink, watermelon lemonade, that is getting popular. It’s all fruit and easy to do. Good for winter when stuff isn’t as good and more expensive. Good luck and enjoy yourself! Keep posting what you can…..like I said, love getting new ideas.

Another very nice vlog. Mika en Eli helping you so good. Seeing Solo and the three oldest ones in Kenya brings back for me so many memory's to last summer when we went to my husbands country (Ivory Coast) and every body was so excited to see the children. Sara i must say that it shows a whole lot that you missed Solo and the other children. I know that when my husband go's 'home' for 2 weeks i also feel like that. You manage but still there is a huge missing.

From a gardening mama - check out the per plan yields on your tomato variety. You may be surprised at the sheer quantity you will be able to harvest per plant. Also, if you invest in soil amendment, proper spacing, staking and watering, you'll really be able to maximize those yields. If you plant too many, you may struggle to keep them satisfied and risk stressing plants or dealing with blight. I really also like to either stagger when I start plants or choose varieties that have variance in time to harvest to try and avoid all tomatoes ripening at once. This approach lets you enjoy fresh for a longer period of time and is more manageable for canning as well. GOOD LUCK!!

Such a great video. Suggestion, if you don’t have enough jars in your canner, you can add jars of filtered water and sterilize it. I do this often and keep a few sterile Jakarta on hand in case I needed to flush something. If they don’t get used… no harm no foul.
