I’m excited and nervous at the same time. I found produce crates! They are drying out right now. I want to keep it simple and safe because it’s the first time I’m doing it. My plan WAS to sand, stain and seal for my patio. NOW… I see you do this and I want to. I would be too nervous and need you to hold my hand 🤣 as I go through the steps. I’ve been busy but I’m ready to start working on my crates. I only THOUGHT I knew what I was going to do. LOL I love your techniques and you make it look so easy. 💕 I do love them. I have lavender and spearmint plants I want to put on my crates in pots. I wonder what I’ll decide to do with them as I sleep on it tonight?

Adorable! You’ve got so much experience working with different products and mediums. Thanks for all the info and inspiration!!! Have you ever used Unicorn Spit? Sounds like a bad intro to a silly joke but it’s an actual product. It’s a water based stain and paint. It can be used on metals, wood, fabric. You’re so creative, and knowledgeable about how materials and mediums work together. I don’t know how to start using the medium on projects. Any suggestions ? (I have to assume its a unicorn cruelty free product.)

No I have never used the unicorn spit but I have tried to replicate a painting technique like it I need to make a video about it

How do you differentiate between which would you use latex on and what you would you use chalk paint on?

90% of the time I use chalk paint the only time that I would probably just use a latex is if I have a project that I have put a primer on and then I can put the latex on top of it
