@Sheryl Tucker. You might want to try a little vaseline on the inside of the mason jar lid and top of the jar. Try using a plastic mason lid instead of a metal one.

Hello! I’m a fairly new subscriber.... Thank you for sharing your work! This project I have to try! I work with glass crafting every day! I’d love to show you what I try with this baking powder technique in a few days. Do you accept photos in any way? My go-to textures vary in my recycled art projects but I mostly use elastomeric. Take care!

Thanks for the inspiration. I know you can’t save the leftover, but I also know you said you can the chalk paint. What is the best kind of container to use to store the chalk paint? I tried Mason jars, but it is so hard to open after use. Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

Hi. I googled the difference between baking soda & baking powder. Then your video popped up. I'm not sure but I see many using the soda for chalk paint. Yet you suggest the powder. What is the difference? I'm in Australia and powder is very rare and not available in our supermarkets. 🤔

Baking powder and baking soda Are very different and they will make a different painting texture also

how well does this baking powder paint stick to the glass... long term

I have some baking powder that expired in Oct 22, and the beginning of your video you said how when you mix baking powder with a liquid, it fluffs up, is that important for this technique? I was going to throw mine away but thought about mixing with paint because it's more than 3/4 full, I Googled it and this was the only page that mentioned baking powder and not baking soda. Thanks
