Great win for Blues last night mate. I know how heavy the rain was because I was working out in it! 😳 Thankfully I did at least have my waterproofs on! 😅 What a great result and indeed, what a great performance all round. Good to see they weren’t knocked off their rhythm for long after the Barnet result (but hey, it’s Barnet, it always seems to be them! 🙄) and I am sure that now you have Macca you will continue on the up 👍 Shame about how his exit from Charlton turned out as I always liked him. Sadly, fans have a tendency for hysteria and he didn’t do an awful lot wrong but hey. He’ll do a good job for you 😉 I am hoping Charlton will return to winning ways again on Saturday at Shrewsbury. So far that’s the best performance I have seen from Southend so far every player Played superbly yesterday even Collin the GK was very good with dealing with the crosses into the box everyone played for the badge yesterday and that’s what we a want to see but we have to take that win into the game on Saturday because typical Southend will play well against Tuesday then go lose to Sutton on Saturday so we need to take the positivity to Saturday Great video as always mate keep up the great work UTB 💙💙

Great vlog Pip, Midfield was the most attack minded and creative I’ve seen from us in a long time. Excellent performance from Nathan Ralph too. Bim showed some Cardwellesque qualities, just needs to get up to match speed and fitness. Bonne and Forson showed glimpses of what’s in store so all in all the turbulence of the last few weeks seems to have abated, for now…….this is Southend United after all😎

Thanks Pip, great coverage of the match as always. I haven't commented so far this season as I've been waiting for the dust to settle a bit after the delayed take over by COSU, then the spate of early injuries followed by Cards moving on, the Kensgate saga and bidding farewell to JD. Now, I think the dust has well and truly settled with the new boys coming in all showing their quality, even if it's only been a cameo appearance from some so far. Last night's performance has, I believe, put down a marker for the rest of the league to take note. Eastleigh are not a bad side, as their results so far this season have shown, but apart from the first 10-15 minutes of the second half we dominated them. If we can continue with the spirit shown last night a top three place in the league ought to be achievable. UTB!

Well that was a very awesome result and a very solid 3 points with a clean sheet to boot. Excellent win on a team in great form at the moment. Lets see if the team can keep up this level of form over the next 4 league games, all against teams they should take points from. Maybe not full points on 3 away games but it would be great to get all 12, especially going up against Gateshead at months end. Stay safe stay sane.
