Anyone else see the "That scene in Angels of America" video, it being the only moment of the show you've ever seen and being just overcome with depression for it. So then you go and look up other scenes from the show to try and get context and then you find this video and realize parts of it are actually hilarious so you're not as depressed anymore. No.... This play quite literally saved me. It broke me down. Rocked me to my core. Made me gasp for air, both laughing and crying. The ending saved me. “The world only spins forward. We will be citizens. The time has come. Bye now. You are fabulous creatures, each and every one. And I bless you: More Life. The Great Work Begins" I was at my absolute lowest today, contemplating Terrible things. And watching this show gave me a new perspective on life, especially in America. It is the best piece of media I’ve ever consumed.

I can completely relate. Watching Denise play Harper, was just the thing to keep me going bc my dad is also emotionally abusive. I really didn’t know what to do. But after a long, hard day, I’d just turn on the play and act out the scenes. If I could say anything to her, I’d say thank you. Thank you for giving me hope in a time when I didn’t know how to process everything going on. You practically saved my life ❤

In fact, I find him fingernails on a chalkboard annoying on a good day. But, I thought he was amazing in this production. I have to commend any actor who would commit to taking on this insanely massive production. This play is the equivalent to the Richard Wagner opera "Der Ring des Nibelungen"! And, I have to commend any audience members who would make such a commitment to return for multiple nights for an epic production of this magnitude.
