These were some wonderful tactics to get these girls to see the negative impact of their behaviour and choices. In some of the team gone wild shows, they just bring out this Boot Camp guy to scream in their faces and get them even angrier. Going to look at the street corners with the prostitutes, then going to talk to the aids patients, then seeing the dead body, and then seeing their mother in the coffin, with a very good linear representation of the downward spiral their lives would take if they continued their behaviors. What a great episode.

My child would get the ish knocked out of her...and she knows it. Youngest is 20yrs old and I have never had these issues (not that she was an easy teen either). The worst was cutting school. And when I found out, let's just say she did, too!

Ya same here. Friend of mine at 15 bucked up to his dad one day in the kitchen. He said the next thing he remembered was opening his eyes and looking up at the refrigerator. His dad immediately throttled him one time. It’s been 40 years and he’s never disrespected either parent again. Amazing how that works.

@@kiimmig2293 Nowadays in Michigan if you hit your kid like that you will be waking up in a prison cell for two to fifteen. Any corporal punishment of a child is at least two felonies -- child abuse, felony assault and if your kid gets knocked out attempted murder or assault with intent to do great bodily harm (in some states simply assault with intent). All children are told this at least yearly in school right from kindergarten. The state wonders why Starr-Commonwealth juvenile prison and most county juvenile halls are always packed with kids that commit crimes of their own. I am not saying people should actually abuse their kids (anything with fists is taking it too far) but a single swat on the backside with a paddle or juvenile cane never hurt any kid and taught a lot of them a lesson. Bring back some good ol' Singapore at home juvenile canings (this is NOT the same as a correctional caning, it is a much smaller cane and does much less damage) to the world and fewer kids would end up in trouble as teens and adults.

@@mharris5047 I survived three teenage step daughters 🤯I’m aware of the issues. After a couple years of the police, investigations on us, and countless court appearances and counseling, the cops actually started telling us how to cause pain without leaving a mark. I was beaten not spanked. I disciplined my grandkids consistently, with love. When my toddler grandkid was told to stop but instead ran straight out into the street, his cheeks got pink. If their actions can cause themselves or others harm or worse they got a swat. And they didn’t get it right then. I never mad, and them being reminded of the coming events was worse than the swat. The last time I had to spank any of them they were 4. And some never had one. Actually I only remember spanking two of the eight. Both boys. Lol Grandma’s first rule was no one’s getting hurt on my watch. We always had fun. My oldest grandchild will be 20 very soon.

If that would have been my 15 year old the baby would have likely been placed for adoption. Until age 18-21 (depending on the state) parents can do that without the child's permission.
