I never liked those old placemats . . .😜 The colorful ones highlight the colors on your plates. Meals look wonderful, varied and nourishing, and economical; the fridge "clear-out" meals here look fresh as new. Thanks for posting 🙂

I enjoy the banter, and the food of course! How good does that Indian feast look!, & huge platefuls!!! Dobbies have a small amount of Waitrose items in their food hall. Not cheap, but you can pick up reduced items... They had mini summer pudds and The mushroom and chestnut burgers are delicious, even if over £3 for two, a treat. That brinner looks good!!! Have to agree re. the Udon noodle pot, needs much more chunkier veg in it.

Quorn seems to hate vegans! They discontinued 90% of their vegan range! We used to have frozen pieces in plain, fajita & some other flavour, frozen fillets, frozen Cumberland sausages, frozen sausage rolls, frozen brown burgers & them mini deli fillets in both sweet chilli & jerk… all gone! Every last one of them but they’ll continually launch new vegetarian products over & over again

We had some potatoes which were well past their best (a posh restaurant would describe them as mature LOL) So I made mash having cut off the bad bits. I didn't have the ingredients for a coriander pesto so I threw in a small pesto rosso and it was delicious. I will have to look into making my own red pepper pesto.

I can highly recommend slate table mats - they’re really hard wearing, easy to clean and last forever! I know you eat off a glass table with the mats have little pads underneath to protect your furniture. You’re welcome . Great meals btw too ❤️🌱
