I say fix the dodge up a bit we had several of those and they just keep going was usually some little crap like your headlight bright switch or the fog light switch , the dash of course , radio and for some reason on the 5.2 318 throttle position sensor and the transmission deal which after talking with transmission guy went to larger coolers and that took care of that .

@@MXguy95 Yea, I'm the same way. Unfortunately, I live in the Midwest where rust eats almost everything metal alive. Only two things make me junk a vehicle, heavy frame damage (usually from rust) and the cost of the repair going into the middle to uppper thousands of dollars. At that point I just get another vehicle.

@hunterwaldroup64035 жыл бұрын
When did you get that dodge?
@jamesmoore33465 жыл бұрын
The high beam thing must be a dodge trademark. I got a 98 1500. The light stays on but dim when on low beams and it goes btight when I flip to high beams. I've always sain the chrysler corp could build a wiring harness, all the way back into the 60's, ford couldn't build a front end that didn't squeak and chevy didn't know a thing about rust prevention. Lol....... BTW, I had a 95 ram with the cummins, great truck but the auto trans were POS. My lil 318 got 184K on the clock, so far cost me a front rotor, a water pump, a headlight switch and a TPS, not bad for an old daily driver. Working on getting an early 90's XL SURBURBAN 4 WD, friend got it. The 350 quit on it, he thinks spider but I don't say until I get to check it out, it would be great if it had a 454, not concerned about gas mileage. Wanting to build a travel trailer rig. Just always liked that era of surburbans.......I'm a chevy guy, don't have a clue how my last two trucks come from dodge! Actually, cutting a burbie in half an making a six door out of it is an idea I been thinking on. Probably never happen, burlt as long as it's the longest burbie built then I'm ok with it.....lol......
