I said it yesterday and I'll say it again MARESCA is the problem!!! He failed to rotate the squad by sticking with same players, and also taking long to makes changes within the game. He began speaking that nonsense that we weren't in a title challenge that has now become self fulfilling prophecy. He created two squads an A and B side, causing those on the B team to feel disillusioned, and in many cases allowed the players to rot on bench when he could have given minutes. Then he request for a striker and midfielder and then when it came down to choosing nkunku and felix, we let felix go and kept nkunku and last but certainly not the least, Maresca continues to play Sanchez he could have rotated Jorgensen some more so that he is more confident to play in these important games. Maresca is the PROBLEM!!!

We forget that Chukwuemeka was our creative lynchpin prior to his injury and emergence of Palmer. Chilwell brings a leadership and calming presence not only on the pitch but off it. Felix has a creative spark and actually one of the few players who actually takes shots from distance, in and around the edge of the box. You can't tell me none of those players would bring something to this team. Poor planning and use all-round.

This game summed up a lot of our issues. Palmer forced to drop deep and away from the goal, wingers lack support and forced backwards, nkunku wasted upfront because we have no depth upfront, lack of midfield options. Maresca needs to get creative, because we’ve been figured out. Our fullbacks are suited to overlapping. Find a way to let them support the attack or play wing wingbacks so nkunku/palmer can play inside and influence the game.

6 Observations • We don't have enough about us to compete on 3 fronts • This will narrow down any distractions from our main objectives this season: UCL Football + winning the Conference League. • Jackson is the best option up front & we looked toothless without him. Hope he's available next Friday. • We were losing the game in midfield. It got a bit better when Enzo came on for KDH... but still not good enough. • Other than Palmer's goal i struggle to recall us having a shot on target all game. That was a poor attacking display from our best attackers - in terms of names. No fluidity. • May we learn the lessons from this loss & come back stronger in the Prem against these lot. Expecting a win next Friday to solidify a top 4 position in the league. We Go again at the Amex. #COYB

Since before hiring Marezca, I kept saying that the best replacement for Pochettino (even though I wanted Poch to stay at least one more season) was the italian De Zerbi..!!! Every team in PL already knows how to play against Chelsea. The entire midfield and offense line is soooo crowded.... with De Zerbi the team is sooo stretched out which was the reason why one touch Caicedo and MacAllister worked wonders leaving their attackers on 1on1 situations and I believe that's the game for an unstoppable Jackson...

Under Poch, arguably everyone improved. For all of Poch's faults and failings for "too much running", our teams were extremely fit and sustained the fight throughout the 90mins. We were scoring late goals and running teams ragged. Now we barely muster up a decent second half in games. One thing that we could've hung our hats on with Poch is that he's a squad builder, a talent nurturer. A somewhat father-like figure to the players and it worked. He turned good talents into world class, took a mediocre Spurs and turned them into title challengers. Most of all he knew how to remain competitive in a 5-year period. Sure, his methods were somewhat outdated but I'd gladly take Poch's chaotic and high-energy football than this tactical ineptitude. Name a player under Maresca who's done even marginally better than in Poch's last few months. Poch was a known quantity, with Maresca can we even turn it around? Is his stern tactics a hinderance for a players low on confidence? We don't know.

I don’t feel any pity for Maresca at all. He is an active participant in the mediocre way in which transfers are being conducted. You ask me, “How?”. By being a “yes man” that he is. One big question no one is asking is “are the sporting director calling the shots or are they just figure head receiving orders from Egbahli?” Because these guys (SDs) can’t be professionals and useless at their jobs. One thing I’ve learnt from these new owners is they are manipulative & controlling, others (like coach, SDs) take the fall & lashing for Egbahli’s decision making. I won’t be surprised the SDs give the owners their opinions but it’s thrown out the door & the owners do what they want
