Frankly..... utube ads are like TV commercials. The modern man has learned to totally ignore them. They can spit their dribble all over your works of love and we loyal viewers will ignore them, hate on them and eagerly watch OUR Vincent's wonderful adventures.

You made my day with this comment honestly I'm laughing as i read it over and over again. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 i don't mind adds at the start of some ones video that I'm watching two are three adds. No problem. I put up with them, you turn your brain off and just keep looking and waiting for the writing to come up to be able to skip the adds. Then I'm happy watching the video but when more adds come up right in the middle of watching the video that annoys me and the more that keep coming up during the video I'm thinking it's just not worth it to watch the video and just come out of the whole experience then hit the Jameson bottle and get plastered. 😊 The adds are going to kill me. @@petersalmon2695 thanks for your great comment. I havent done anything since. I don't use my phone for anything only making phone calls and making videos. I have my phone set by gomo that's the company I'm with that i can't get robbed by anybody. I was robbed of thousands of euros by some company that apparently i subscribed to which i didn't. Didn't know i was subscribed to them and every month they kept taking larger amounts of money from my bank account. I only discovered this when i was changing my phone. I reported them the the powers that be. I was offered some and only some of my money back. I was advised to take what i was offered otherwise they would give me nothing. That's what i was advised by the Irish powers that be. Who's working with who? So every time a scam artist contacts me to push this link to collect my parcel or that link to unsubscribe i laugh knowing that I'm untouchable they can't rob me. I will have to change all my settings with gomo to put up my bank details to collect revenue from KZbin even though I'm not looking for any payment. It would all just to be able to control the adds where they go. At the moment on my phone i don't see any adds. No doubt if my channel keeps growing i will definitely have to set something up. For now I'll leave well alone. And if yet have read all this you deserve a dram for your chest. LOL. now i got that off my chest. LOL.

I think KZbin can even choose to run ads themselves if you're not a partner, but if you sign up you should be able to turn off monetization for every video, but not sure if that will help the other people running them. I hope you can get it sorted mate

A pain yes, but (as a viewer) you really should be compensated for the wonderful content that you provide. Maybe, just maybe it would help you "buy" a fish now and then... Thanks so much for the feedback. I believe if you play your own music no matter what piece you play once you play it there's no copyright infringements. Thats as far as i know. I'll get it sorted out hopefully with as little adds as possible going into my channel. As little as possible. Just to keep some control over my channel.

I was a bit annoyed how my earlier videos had ads on them that I didn't place, but there's not much I can do... At least with using the YT audio library there's less of a chance ads being placed on my videos.. But again youtube can decide they want to anyway.. Its a pain in the feckin hole

Hey Vincent, I think they can only put them in the videos with their content in them, not all of your videos but I could be wrong. If you apply to become a partner, you will have full control over whether you have adds running or not, but if your video has copyright music in it, then they can still run adds for the owner of the music. You can turn monetisation off so that YOU don't earn money, but you can't turn it off for them if that makes sense.

Thanks Robbie for all your great advice. I think no matter what music i play once i play it on my guitar there's no copyright infringements. But i joined Tic Toc lately then they started putting adds into my channel. I've since deleted the Tic Toc app off my phone i hope that stops them putting adds in my channel. Fingers crossed. Its just very annoying seeing adds right in the middle of my video in the middle of some piece of music i spent hours practicing and then it's just ruined by some stupid bloody add that i didn't put up. I think i have to get with the times I'm afraid. Cheers Robbie. I'll have to worm it all out. Don't use my phone for anything only making the videos and phone calls and texts. It's very annoying seeing adds pop up that i can't stop. So if i can't beat them I'll join them with as little disruption as possible to mw channel. Hopefully I'll get it all sorted out soon. There's nothing free in this world. You can't even just make a video and let somebody enjoy it for free. No, somebody finds a away of making money out of it. I may as well make the money out of my now channel rather than let somebody else make money out of me. Plus i don't want any advertisements right in the middle of my guitar playing. I hate adds. Your on the ball. My earlier videos that have music in them that have copyright issues If i deleted all of them off my channel and that stopped the adds I'd do it instantly but i think there's more to it than meets the eye so very reluctantly I'm going to have to become a KZbin partner i thinks its called and put adds into my own channel. If i go down that road hopefully i will be able to control how many adds how long they are and where they are placed. 😢
