I got the older version . Honestly got to say the upgrade kit looks nice. With the old one your always worried about cracking the plastic. Old one still works nice and makes me $

I’m extremely disappointed in the manufacturing team for mytee, my mytee 8070 showed up brand new with a leak in the pump and now I’m struggling to get it replaced while I’m the meantime rescheduling a bunch of detailing work and potentially losing customers for my business! This is the first and last time I buy a mytee machine! Please hire a better quality control team

So sorry to hear that! We QC every machine that leaves our warehouse but statistically some are bound to have a flaw in them, which is why we do our best to stand behind our products and offer great warranty service when that's the case. If you are having difficulty with the warranty process please give us a ring at 858-679-1191 and we will do whatever we can to make the process easier and faster for you

same issues here, also for most mobile detailers who use hp60,8070 or below this tool is useless since its steady flow tool you only get about 20 seconds of warm water

Because this tool doesn’t have a trigger or something when I turn the water off from the nob my water pump in my hp60 spyder sounds like it’s jumping or mumbling doesn’t sound cool and I don’t want to keep using this tool and mess up my extractor

@juliuscaesar88012 жыл бұрын
What machine are you using? If portable, yeah you gonna suck up a lot of water. It’s the nature of using a portable. Turn down the flow a bit. Aside from that, have a couple 5 galling buckets wait to refill.

I haven't had mine for a month vac was leaking between shell tried to tighten it a little and the screew broke it also needs some way to stop the vacuum hose from coming apart where it connects to the tool dont get me wrong the tool seamed to work well but its ability to handle commercial use is somewhat questionable

Hi Brandon, sorry to hear about that! Happy to inform you both of those issues are covered by our warranty on this tool, the head shouldn't have any leaks, and we are aware of a batch that went out with too-thin hoses (from our manufacturer) and both problems can be corrected with a replacement at no charge. This will work on a Mytee HP60??

I’m trying to get an answer on the operation of my hp60. Just arrived. From first use it seems to “burp” or “top off” pressure while it is sitting heating up with pump and heater on. It also does it with the vacuum on because I can feel minor shake/pulse in clean water line when holding tool head. Is this normal operation or should it be totally silent if not running vacuum motor or spraying water (just heater and pump on).
@myteeproducts Жыл бұрын
Good question! That sound is the pump turning on/off momentarily as it keeps pressure, which is called cycling. Demand pumps shut off only when they reach their set shut-off pressure, which is set by a set screw on top of the pump head, in this case it should be set to 120PSI. When it turns on it is just to hold this pressure so it is ready as soon as you pull the trigger on your tool. It is not a cause for concern, nor is it damaging the unit.
@AdamConstantine Жыл бұрын
@@myteeproducts so is it normal to always hear it when I’m not running water through? It will “pulse” every couple seconds or maybe every 20 seconds. Just depends. Love the machine so far! Appreciate the response.

I have a 2013 year 8070. Would this attach to that older 8070?
@myteeproducts2 жыл бұрын
You will need to swap the installed cuff-lynx connector with the included vinyl hose cuff to accommodate the barb fitting on the older 8070 but after that it would be compatible!
@henrymata1415162 жыл бұрын
How would you add a extension hose to this?

We have a cuff-lynx adapter for connecting this to another length of hose, in 1.25", 1.5" and 2" hose lengths www.mytee.com/vinyl-cuff-lynx/

How do you prime the machine with this style attachment
@myteeproducts2 жыл бұрын
you can turn the vacuum on while priming to recover the water from the tool or hold the tool over a clean water tank so the water returns to use again later

Using the flow control knob! You can adjust the flow to your ideal rate for the best recovery. The sweet spot will be different for different machines based on PSI and vacuum power

When using this tool on an 8070, what order do I turn the switches on? Thanks.
@myteeproducts2 жыл бұрын
Same as any other tool! Pump first to prime, then heater, wait about 10 minutes to get the heater at max and then vacuums on! You can hold the tool over the clean water tank while priming it so the water isn't lost, or you can have the vacuum on while priming to recover the water. Use the shutoff valve on the GT while pre-heating so the flow isn't left on
